This warranty certificate covers your new split rail fence installed by Fence & Deck Connection for a period of (5) years. Fence & Deck Connection warrants the overall structural integrity of its wood fence to the original consumer purchaser. All contracts must be paid in full before warranty coverage can be applied.
What does this warranty cover?
• Labor & Material for the overall structural integrity of the fence. Includes rot, decay, termites, and footings.
• Split Rail - Five years
• Gate adjustments- Five years
How long will the warranty be effective?

What is not covered by this warranty?
• Damage attributable to fire, violent storms, hurricanes, or earthquakes
• Natural tendency of pressure treated wood to warp, twist & check affecting the structural integrity of the fence
• Damage due to misuse, abuse, impact of objects surrounding or attached to fence.
• Any contracts w/ outstanding balance.
What is covered under the Fence & Deck Connection Warranty?
Labor & materials for the overall structural integrity of the fence
Proper installation to include:
o Post footings
o Runner attachment
o Fence picket attachment
o Proper fasteners
o Post cap attachment
o Top rail ties (PVC fence only)
What is not covered by the Fence & Deck Connection Warranty?
Damage attributable to fire, wind storms, hurricanes, or earthquakes
Damaged caused by abuse
o Kids, animals, and vehicle damage
Damage caused by surrounding objects
o Rocks
o Trees, Plants?
o Lawn equipment
o Sports equipment
o Any type of paint or stain on the material
Fading outside the Manufacturer's Warranty
Fence & Deck Connection offers a Standard Lifetime Adjustment Warranty, for as long as the original purchaser owns the home.
Gate adjustments to include:
Hinge adjustment
Latch adjustment
Gate alignment
Gate warranty items not covered:
Damaged caused by abuse and wear and tear
o Kids, animals, and vehicle damage
Damage attributable to fire, wind storms, hurricanes, or earthquakes
Damaged caused by not latching the gate properly
Vinyl and aluminum fencing are by far the most long -lasting, maintenance-friendly fencing materials. However proper care and maintenance must be maintained to prolong the life of your fence (this coul d affect your warranty coverage).
Proper care and maintenance:
o Light powerwash 1X per year
o Yearly fence/gate inspection (by homeowner) to include:
Post alignment
Runner attachment
Picket attachment
Gate alignment
Hinges and latches should be lubricated ( as needed)
