Wrapping your deck’s sides and structural supports with vinyl materials creates a clean, polished look for your new outdoor space.

Wrap the Deck with Fascia Board

Wrap the exterior base of your deck with our textured vinyl fascia board, which is available in white and tan to match your decking and railing. Our fascia board is thicker than composite fascia boards. When cutting to size, we miter the corners, then glue and screw the material for a tight fit. We also use matching cortex plugs to hide and cover the screw holes for a clean finish.

 Includes rot, decay, termites, and footings

o Rail post attachment if applicable

o All applicable deck manufacturer warranties

o All applicable deck railing manufacturer warranties

o All applicable deck lighting warranties (standard warranty is for a period of 1-year)

What is not covered under the Fence & Deck Connection Warranty?

 Damage attributable to fire, wind storms, hurricanes, or earthquakes

 Damaged caused by abuse and wear and tear

o Kids, animals, and vehicle damage

 Impact of objects surrounding or attached to the deck

o Rocks

o Trees, Plants

o Lawn equipment

o Sports equipment

 Natural tendency of pressure-treated wood to warp, twist, and check not affecting the structural integrity of the fence

o This is noted on page (4) of your contract

A commitment to regular cleaning and maintenance will keep wood decking looking fresh for 15-20 years. Neglecting your fence could affect your warranty coverage. When you discover that your deck is showing signs of mold, you’ll want to give it a proper cleaning, as untreated mold can lead to rot (this could affect your warranty coverage).

 Proper care and maintenance:

o First power wash and stain should occur anywhere between 6-12 months after installation

 Make sure water is not beading up on the lumber before applying a stain

o Continued recommended maintenance:

 Light power wash

 Stain (clear or colored) completed every 3-5 years

 Stain to be specific to pressure-treated or cedar material

 Stain to have both a water repellent and U.V. blocker

o Yearly deck inspection (by homeowner) to include:

 Support posts

 Railing posts

 Railing attachment

 Deck board fasteners

Composite decking is by far the longest -lasting, most maintenance-friendly decking material. However proper care and maintenance must be maintained to prolong the life of your deck (this could affect your warranty coverage).
