FESTIVE COLLECTION 2017 While you look at the bigger picture, we’ll focus on the details.

ver since we began working in the industry in 1998, the Festive Season has always been a special time for us; one
which we start preparing for in January as we travel around the globe sourcing beautiful items to stock and ideas to inspire us. More than that, it’s a time when we welcome many of our regular, as well as one-off, clients into our shop as they seek advice, gifts and decorations to help make this time of the year even more wonderful. This year, like all the ones before it, we have replenished our shop with fabulous items to help you decorate your homes and office spaces – and we’ll be staying open longer to take the stress out of finding what you’re looking for (9.00am-7.30pm Monday to Sunday,
including Public Holidays, in fact!). We also understand that Christmas is a particularly personal time, when friends and families come together to celebrate, and that is why, among our many services, we have numerous personalisable ones to help you make Christmas more your own, including baubles and gift-wrapping. So, as Christmastime approaches, we look forward to helping you out with all your décor needs!

FESTIVE SEASON WEDDINGS Christmas has always been our favourite period of the year; we find it so magical and it fills our homes with love and unity – not to mention the perfect weather! When we were choosing our wedding date, we thought that Boxing Day would be ideal because it was close to Christmas and, of course, it’s also St Stephen’s Day (my husband’s name). The colour scheme came quite naturally, too: cream and gold were the base on which we placed green for evergreens and a touch of red to represent winter berries.

E
ver since I can remember, I have always looked at Alistair’s decorated window during the Christmas period. It’s never failed to mesmerize or impress me… Year after year! I had always dreamt of having him as my florist and decorator if I ever got married so, when the time came for Alex and I to tie the knot, I suggested a trip to Alistair’s shop. My perfect wedding had to have snowflakes and crystals, and I was so thrilled to find that nothing was impossible for Alistair to make our dream wedding come true. I have no regrets in entrusting him and his team to set up all the decorations for the day… It was truly magical: from the bouquets, which I had specifically asked to have personalised with crystals, down to every single detail. 1. Why did you choose to get married during the Festive Season? I was born in December and I believe that, at this time of year, everything is more magical. Getting married in December was the obvious choice for us! 2. Was it difficult to find a colour scheme? Since we had already decided on the snowflake and crystals theme, it came naturally to choose deep blues and greys. 3. Was it a challenge to prepare you wedding at this time of the year (particularly due to the weather)? I specifically wanted a winter wedding and, as funny as it may sound, I didn’t want it to take place on a sunny day... In fact, the day turned out exactly how I had imagined it to be… A true winter’s day: cold, windy and rainy… Even during the reception! But it didn’t matter, as I had bought clear umbrellas for the wedding ahead of the day.
