Robinsons Kaizen Community Development San Mateo, Rizal, Philippines Developer: Robinsons Land Corporation

T his 28-hectare site integrates business hubs, commercial centers, and high-rise residential condominiums into a modern community with an efficient intercity and intra-city transport system. It has several movement corridors that are aimed increase walkability throughout the site. Also, streetscapes generously prioritized pedestrian and bicycle circulation through their separation from roadways. T he river traversing the site was planned to become a sustainable riparian park system by treating the polluted water with phytoremediating vegetation. In larger picture, the park can reduce heat island effect and improves the liveability of the community.





SM Keppel Mixed-Use Towers Mandaluyong City, Philippines Developer: BDO, Keppel Properties Philippines

T he main landscape component of the development is the 5th level rooftop landscape which connects the BDO and Keppel Business Towers. It employs a geometric form composition which blends well with the urban setting. T he facade of the Podium mall will also be covered with greenwall, which is expected to become the largest greenwall structure in the Philippines. As a candidate for LEED Gold and Greenmark (Singapore) Certification System, the landscape employs the shift in use of effluent water for irrigation, usage of engineered soil and compost, and use of native/low-maintenance tropical plant species. T he hardscape used are made of high albedo materials and sourced locally.





Twin Tides Hotel and Resort Panglao Island, Bohol, Philippines Developer: MyHometel

T his condotel development features a central amenity landscape with a modern tropical theme. It has a lap pool and children's pool for the guests who wants to stay aside from the nearby Alona Beach. Several ground floor units has direct access to the pool. T here's also a lawn area and sunken deck as an alfresco area for the cafe and space for small events.





Henann Resort Bohol Panglao Island, Bohol, Philippines Developer: Henann Group of Resorts

Currently the largest resort complex in the island, the landscape of Henann is immense and provides variety for the guests. It features two main swimming pool grounds - the main inner pool and beachside pool. Each has its distinct form - the main pool fits itself with the surrounding hotel building while the beachside pool utilizes the abundant coconut palms in the area to create an organic tropical ambience. Aside from these, landscape design was also employed at the exclusive villa pools, spa interior garden, hotel building courtyard gardens and convention center grounds.





Calveston Boracay Resort Boracay Island, Aklan, Philippines Developer: Calveston International, Inc.

T he resort features three amenity landscapes - Main Pool Complex, Kiddie Aqua Play Center, and Villa Pool Lounge. T he main design goal for these amenities is to imitate its connection to the seashore. T his was achieved through the manipulation of the landform (using various levels and cliffs) and associating forms from aquatic creature and wave currents. Once fully constructed this 2016, it will become the one of the largest resorts in Boracay Station 1 - the high-end district of the island.
