Class B Motorhome 

It can be thought of as a family van with high roof.

Amenities included are couch that can become bed, small refrigerator , sink, stove, link for electricity and water tanks, portable potty.

Two variations: Diesel and Gas

Length: 16 - 21 feet

4 people can sleep conveniently

Price is variable and range from $40K to around $70K

Size ranges between 15 to 22 feet


Advantages 

Easy to drive

Can be taken and driven on any road

More economic in terms of fuel than others

No need to go outside and one can access the whole RV

Its like a living quarter, so climate within it is in total control

Cheapest motorhome

No need for special storage or parking


Disadvantages Comparatively less amenities than Class A or C vehicles Less spacious and less storage than other large trailers Less storage tanks for water and for holding Battery capacity is low No privacy Bathroom is not there, so one need to use campground It needs a lot of maintenance and more time to repair in

case of breakdown. It doesn’t have a separate trailer, so one need to stay somewhere else if some problem occurs in vehicle.


Recommendations 

When to purchase Class B RV:  For having a motorhome in low budget  Number of travelers are less  Best for travelling to remote locations and without ever thinking of access  If you are a frequent and short term traveler

When shouldn’t be purchased:  Not good for extended and long camping  When requirement of amenities is high  If number of travelers are more and space/storage needed is high  If you want RV for fulltime
