M a r k e t S u mm a ry December 2021, Reno (including North Valleys) had 370 sales of existing single-family homes: an increase of less than 1 percent from last November and 6.3 percent decrease from December 2020. The median sales price in Reno for an existing single-family residence in December 2021 was $555,000; a 2.1 percent decrease the previous month and a 11 percent increase from December 2020. All sales numbers are for existing “stick built, single-family dwellings” only and do not include condominiums, townhomes, manufactured, modular or newly constructed homes. The existing condominium/townhome median sales price for December 2021 in Reno was $329,000; an increase of 13.4 percent from the prior year.

The Sparks median sales price for an existing single-family residence in December 2021 was $521,750; an increase of 29.5 percent from last year and an increase of 4.4 percent from November 2021. All sales numbers are for existing “stick built, single-family dwellings” only and do not include condominiums, townhomes, manufactured, modular or newly constructed homes. The existing condominium/townhome median sales price for December 2021 in Sparks was $283,500; an increase of 26 percent from last year.
