We want to demonstrate to schools, families and young people the role of the creative sector as employers of the future.

Creative Industries generate £91.8 billion Gross Value Added of the UK’s economy that’s over 5% 1 in 8 of UK businesses is creative We are bigger economically than the automotive sector, life sciences, oil & gas and aerospace combined We are the fastest-growing part of the UK economy – growing at three times the rate of the wider economy There are nearly 2 million jobs in our sector, of which almost half are self-employed/ freelance – that’s 1 in 11 of all UK jobs Almost 90% of workers in the creative industry are at low risk, or no risk, from future automation

ABOUT US Festival Bridge champions the vital role cultural education plays in the lives of all children and young people. Working at an organisation to organisation level, we create and facilitate partnerships and networks which improve the cultural opportunities and activities for young people across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Peterborough and Suffolk.
We employ almost twice as many graduates as the rest of the economy 78% of creative businesses are small enterprises employing fewer than 5 people; 94% employ under 10 people
