“Many of our customers want to go on vacation, but they don’t have a place to go for a holiday. Turkey, for example, is paradise. You go to Akcay, Mount Ida, there’s plenty of oxygen. Lung disease called COPD is very prevalent in England and the best treatment for it is plenty of clean oxygen which can be found in Mount Ida. Also, thermal spas are ideal for people with rheumatism. There’s no reason why people shouldn’t go there, because they know all of this, already. As Lilly Mae, we are open to collaborating on this area.”

Alkan Ozkan explains the model: “We educate franchisees for a year, under what we call mentoring, and aim to get back the principal amount people invested along with some profit. We offer people a franchise partnership model. We teach the business to those who want to build a partnership model. The important thing is to gain some experience and get them to transfer this experience into their work. Home Care is a business that is much needed and has continuity. We also want to make sure that more Turks are involved.” With this model, Alkan also wishes to break the prejudice that believes ‘Every Turk in the UK will be a kebab shop owner or barber’: “Our people can work professionally anywhere in the UK”.
