WHAT IS THE EAGLES CLUB? On behalf of all our student-athletes and coaches, I want to extend our tremendous appreciation to all those who have helped make our numerous successes possible. 2014-15 has been another memorable year here on “The Nest”; five more championships and six additional NCAA Tournament appearances - including Women’s Basketball and Women’s Swimming & Diving respectively finishing 21st and 26th in the nation; Capturing the A-Sun Combined and Women’s All Sport Trophies for the second time in three years; continued great Alico Arena crowds and more victories over BCS programs in a number of sports; Standout swimmer Kira Toussaint becoming our first ever repeat AllAmerican and her relay team finishing 8th in the country; another record cumulative grade point average (3.33) and our fifth and sixth FGCU Hall of Famers (Kelsey Carpenter and Emma Svensson), as well as countless community service hours by our Eagle athletes and staff. We are certainly proud of our achievements on and off the various playing venues. Moving ahead, the continued key to our future accomplishments will be our abilities to generate much needed additional external resources for our Capital Campaign and annual budgets. Hence, we must continue to grow our Eagles Club membership, amongst other avenues (i.e., ticket sales, corporate sponsorships, etc.). Therefore, if you are not already involved, please seriously consider joining our company. For those previously on board, we would love to have you join our 110% Club! With an awesome beginning to our FGCU story, our best years lie just ahead! Your continued support and generosity greatly enhances our path to future successes, and we are very thankful for all those who have been with us as loyal season ticket holders and Eagles Club Members. In turn, we feel very fortunate to know so many of you personally and to be able to call you our friends. We look forward to sharing many more Green & Blue victory celebrations with our great Eagles Club folks in the years ahead. In the meantime, thanks for all that you do for FGCU Athletics!

God Bless & Go Eagles!

The Eagles Club is the official organization that supports FGCU Athletics. Financial assistance from the membership helps to support our programs, build and maintain outstanding facilities, and fund scholarships. More than 260 talented student-athletes in 15 sports benefit from resources provided by the Eagles Club annually. In addition, membership provides opportunities to participate in exclusive social events, access to coaches and teams, as well as the intrinsic satisfaction of assisting so many quality young people.

FGCU ATHLETICS NEEDS YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT Donations to the Eagles Club provide additional resources in support of programs, coaches, and student-athletes during a time when FGCU Athletics is experiencing increased operational costs and budget constraints. By becoming a member, you can make a tangible difference in our quest for excellence in every area of competition. FGCU Athletics programs are funded annually by a very generous athletic fee (supported by our terrific FGCU students), ticket and sponsorship sales, and most importantly, through private donations by generous supporters like you. Please help level the playing venues and retain our talented coaches by joining the Eagles Club today!

1 2 3 4 5 6 7

JOIN THE EAGLES CLUB ANNUAL FUND The annual giving fund for athletics. The first step in supporting our programs, coaches, and studentathletes is to become part of the Eagles Club. Increasing annual support is critical to provide the proper resources.

MAKE A GIFT TOWARD A SPECIAL PROJECT OR INITIATIVE

While joining the Eagles Club is the first priority for supporters, it isn’t the only option. You can also make a gift that will be earmarked for a specific capital project, legacy fund, naming opportunity or endowment.

FIND OUT IF YOUR COMPANY PARTICIPATES IN A MATCHING GIFTS PROGRAM

Many companies have programs in place whereby they match donations (sometimes doubling or even tripling the charitable portion of a gift). The individual donor receives credit for both their gift and the company’s match.

UPGRADE YOUR EAGLES CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Continue your commitment to the Eagles by moving your membership to the next giving level. You can also join our 110% Club by giving 110% of your membership level. The additional resources generated by your increased giving go directly toward improving the overall student-athlete experience!

REFER A FRIEND TO THE EAGLES CLUB

The purpose of the Eagles Club is to help strengthen the resource pool for our student-athletes by growing our membership base. Help us grow our membership numbers by referring a friend, co-worker or fellow season ticket holder. Online, phone, e-mail or mail. *For more information go to FGCUAthletics.com/Giving/EaglesClub

BROOKE (YOUNGQUIST) SWEAT ‘08 “Being a student-athlete at FGCU was a great experience. The professors were understanding and wanted you to excel on the court as well as in the classroom and our coaches made it clear that academics come first. We were surrounded with unbelievable support from the community. It was such a special feeling winning on our home court in front of all our fans! I will always be proud to be an EAGLE!” AVP (2012 - Present) Member of USA Beach Volleyball National Team

SARAH HANSEN ‘14 “As a student-athlete at FGCU, I believe I have been exposed to some of the most beneficial and rewarding experiences a college student could ask for. I learned countless life lessons both on and off the court that will help me become successful in my post-basketball career. Additionally, I had the privilege to develop a relationship with the best fans in the country, that I am sure will survive long after I left the hardwood of Alico Arena.” 2013-14 Academic All-American Rhodes Scholar Nominee
