dance This study programme gives young dance artists and makers the education to develop their own signature and create their own performance work. The three flagship profiles, Dance Arts in Context, Contemporary Urban, and Choreography enable students to explore contemporary dance practices and techniques with a view to collaborating with different art forms. Our partners in business: Dans Brabant, Tilburg Dans Stad, De New Vorst, Theaters Tilburg, Dynamo, Inclusive Dance, Festivals: Festival Deltebre Dansa, Summer Dance forever, Moving Futures. We educate our students to create, think and produce collaboratively. They become dance makers and dance leaders who have their own voice, who take ownership of their own careers and who go on to take up meaningful positions throughout both the performing arts field and wider society. circus and performance art This Bachelors programme educates young people with talent and motivation for the profession of circus performer. The international orientated study leads to an internationally recognized academic bachelor diploma of professional education as circus performer and has a highly qualified team, working in state-of-the-art training facilities. This programme offers training in a variety of circus disciplines, such as: Juggling, Partner Acrobatics, Swinging Trapeze, Chinese Pole, Hand to Hand, Rope, Straps, Static Trapeze. Our partners in business: Member of the European Federation of Professional Circus Schools FEDEC, INTENTS, Festival Circolo, and more. A contemporary circus performer finds work in the field of circus, a large professional field that has evolved considerably, and that nowadays embraces various structures: circus, variety shows, street performances, site-specific work, circus theatre, visual theatre, amusement parks, events and more.

music and performing arts This programme is an ambitious, innovative conservatory programme that emphasizes high quality performance, chamber music, and creativity. This Bachelor brings students to a high level of excellence, while connecting music with other art forms such as dance, theater and fine arts. Our core programme components are artistic excellence, an international environment, intensive work with ensembles in residence, and interdisciplinary opportunities. This programme offers training in jazz or classical music.
Our partners in business: Various ensembles in residency, local and international presenters. We educate our students to become pioneers in their field. Six core skills make up the pioneering attitude of our students: ensemble playing, self-management, interdisciplinarity, applied research, collective entrepreneurship, and international connectedness. Our professors are internationally renowned artists, who have the abilities to bring you to a higher level of artistry. In addition, a number of high-profile ensembles in residence will conduct extensive work with our students.

While firmly rooted in the Dutch architectural tradition, the programme has a strong international orientation. The Master programme’s objective is to educate architects who are able to effectively combine design intelligence with a reflective attitude and practical and entrepreneurial skills.

This part-time innovative Master, designed to support experienced movement makers from a variety of fields, is run jointly by Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam and Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts in Tilburg. The course exposes students to a broad range of approaches, movement disciplines and creative domains while supporting them in retaining connections with their own working field. Students are co-creators of the course and will be responsible for creating a productive learning cohort with their peers.

The graduated student will have gained new ways of approaching and communicating their creative practice and will have done this in a way that opens doors in the academic, educational and creative domains. They will have become a creative movement expert that can work with anyone, anywhere, anytime: an investment in themselves and their careers.

master of music The master offers you an intensive twoyear programme. The core programme consists of international masterclasses, individual lessons, and lectures on research skills, cultural entrepreneurship, music philosophy and music marketing. The unique dimension of this Master is the personalized component: students receive a two-year scholarship and can tailor the programme in accordance with the needs of their emerging career. The school maintains strong connections with local concert halls and venues. Therefore, as a student you will have ample performance opportunities in the region. The Royal Danish Academy of Music, Anton Rubinstein (International Musikakademie), P.Porto, and more. The Master of Music is an advanced degree programme for highly gifted musicians who seek a career as professional performers on national and international concert stages.

master performing public space This blended-learning programme offers you an enriching & flexible learning environment, which directly relates to your current artistic work in public space. It breaks new ground in investigating public space as a backdrop for artistic expression and intervention. This Master is designed for international creatives from a variety of art disciplines, who currently focus on public space as their artistic environment.
The new Master programme builds a solid network of international festivals, artists, platforms and organizations focused on art in public space. After completion, you will have developed skills in artistic (practice-based) research, expanded your knowledge on all forms of art in public space, Co-created projects with other (art) disciplines.
