FRENCH CLUB The Key Stage 2 French Club is designed to develop language learning skills, encourage cultural awareness and build up confidence and positive attitudes towards language learning. Particular emphasis will be placed on developing speaking, reading and writing skills as well as understanding and application of grammar.'

GERMAN CLUB The German Club aims to help the children reinforce the knowledge taught in class, especially for Y3 & Y4. Upper Key Stage 2 (Y5 & Y6) children are invited to discover the joy of reading books in German, which will aid them in enriching their vocabulary and developing fluency and accuracy in this language.

PASSPORT TO THE WORLD CLUB
In this club children will learn a little bit about countries around the world by watching videos, learning bits of the language, colouring and sometimes trying food!  The United Kingdom, France, Italy and Greece are some of the destinations! Get your passports ready‌

ROMANIAN CLUB The Romanian course supports and extends Year 6 students' learning. They have the chance to practise and reinforce the concepts taught in the classroom during the weekly two lessons, through grammar exercises and imaginative compositions.

TEAM GAMES CLUB A club dedicated to having fun in the sun or gym! Students will play a range of games from stuck-in-the-mud to basketball. Pupils will ultimately learn to play with different pupils across KS2, teach each other and have lots of fun in the process!

PUZZLE CLUB Puzzles are a fun educational toy that challenges young minds, teaching and preparing children some very important life skills. Playing with puzzles requires a trial and error process which involves a lot of thinking skills. Overcoming the challenges involved in solving a puzzle really gives children a sense of achievement and pride within themselves. It provides a boost to their self-confidence and self-esteem as this prepares them for other challenges in life.Â

YOUNG LEARNERS OF ENGLISH CLUB YLE Clubs focus on developing students' abilities and to increase their confidence when expressing in English. There are three programs: Starters, Movers, and Flyers. Starters will be on Tuesday, Movers on Wednesday and Flyers on Thursday. This gives your child a clear path to improve in English and gain universally recognised qualifications along the way. The tests are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) - international standard for describing language ability. They are designed to make learning fun and children are encouraged by working towards certificates and earning the 'shields' that record their progress. www.ibsb.ro
EXTENDED LEARNING PROGRAMME The Extended Learning Programme is designed for children who show exceptional needs, abilities and talents. It aims to extend the child's learning beyond the classroom curriculum and address the personal, social, emotional and intellectual demands involved in learning to become a happy and contributing individual. ELP is designed around the whole-child approach to learning; focusing on the individual strengths and unique traits a child possesses, to further their personal progress. HOMEWORK CLUB 1 Homework Club is a time when children work on their homework individually and quietly. The teacher will give help where necessary but will encourage children to tackle their own work independently.

SWIMMING CLUB This is an opportunity for young swimmers aged 5 - 11 to enjoy the sport of competitive swimming. Based on ability and age group levels, swimmers will be given the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the four competitive strokes. Young swimmers will develop lifelong skills, sportsmanship and positive attitudes, while participating in physical recreation.

CONSTRUCTION CLUB Construction club is a chance for us to put our design and construction skills to the test. Using lego, polydrons, dominoes, train sets and the marble run we make the tallest towers and the most terrific tracks. Â

CHESS CLUB Beginners and veterans are invited to come and enjoy the ultimate game of strategy, skill and patience! More advanced players will pass on skills and have opportunities to solve puzzles. New players will learn the basics and start to develop their game.

ICT CLUB ICT club is a mixture of game-play and serious endeavour. Each week children are set an initial computing or programming challenge. If they achieve this they can then choose to play an age-appropriate game of their choice.

FOOTBALL CLUB This is an opportunity for students to develop their motor skills,balance, co+ordination and agility. The aim is not only to improve the children's football skills, but also to enable them to compete with the right attitude and in a sporting manner.

LITERACY SUPPORT CLUB After initial sessions in which the students will be assessed the following topics will be covered punctuation, grammar, dictation and listening activities, comprehension reading, oral games.

STORYTELLING CLUB The aim of this club is to improve the children’s reading skills and to develop their vocabulary throughout stories. During this club the children read stories and draw their favourite character from the book while listening to a song related to the tale. We all have a lot of fun and we enrich our knowledge.

WOW LAB Learn how to create your own Flubber or how to make the delicious marshmallows smile! Join Wow Lab workshops for the smart children passionate about science! The labs are based on the experiential learning principles and consist of scientific experiments and practical tasks for 5 to 13 y.o children, using at hand, specific objects and substances.

LET’S JUMP The program has a novel perspective on sports and nutrition, encouraging the adoption of an active lifestyle from early childhood. Maintaining this lifestyle represents an essential aspect of healthy living, with beneficial consequences for the rest of the life. ECO-WARRIORS CLUB In the Eco-Warriors Club we look at ways we can reduce wastage, save our natural resources and make ourselves, our school and eventually our neighbourhood greener. We can have fun while doing the very serious job of saving our planet! Calling all Green Police.

COMIC BOOK CLUB In Comic Book Club children will have the chance to design and create their own cartoons and comic books. We will look at different styles of drawing and how to combine pictures and text to bring their ideas to life.

DRAMA GAMES CLUB The Drama Games club is designed for students who wish to develop their listening as well as their speaking skills in a playful and creative environment. Activities will include readings and games meant to encourage cooperation between students and enhance their expression skills. Improvisation is encouraged and fun is guaranteed !
