Sonterra Amenities

As you drive around Sonterra you may notice new amenities popping up all over. Sonterra Blvd is quickly becoming a hub for family fun because there you will find adults, teens, and kids enjoying the playscape, splash pad, pump track, skate park, and mountain bike track all courtesy of Sonterra MUD. In addition to these new facilities, the area’s 3-1/2 miles of walking trails are currently being connected to enable people to walk, run, and bike between subdivisions safely.

Phase one of the trail project is nearing completion and will allow users to travel from the Sonterra Clubhouse (510 Sonterra Boulevard) to a second Sonterra park facility next to Jarrell Elementary School. The school also has a playscape and basketball/pickleball pavilion currently under construction. The pavilion is expected to be complete in early March and will include lights, restrooms, and picnic tables.

Phase two of the walking trails will begin shortly after phase one is completed. It will run down County Road 332 alongside the Bailey Park Subdivision and back to the Sonterra Clubhouse for a complete loop. As exciting as these projects are, they are just the beginning of what’s to come in Sonterra and we are excited to share them all with you in the months ahead!
