FIESTA BOWL CHARITIES Virtual draft day

200 teachers were invited to join a video call on November 10 to receive an update regarding their Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers application. To their surprise, they were met with partners, community champions and local celebrities that shared that their wish was being granted.

The impact that Wishes for Teachers will have on my students is that this very generous gift will give my students an exciting and engaging learning tool that will get them excited about learning new things with a hands-on approach. I am so humbled and overjoyed by the generosity! Jana Weaver

I was able to supply my students with the gift of reading through a multitude of books at their fingertips. In a year where students cannot share materials, it has been amazing to give my students individual fiction and non-fiction books.
