PHOENIX CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OHMNI PRO ROBOTS

Through the 2021-22 Fiesta Bowl Charities Grant Cycle, Phoenix Children’s Hospital was able to procure 12 Ohmni telepresence robots, the first of their kind worldwide. These robots were built so that children who are sick or immunocompromised can experience events, special visitors and other opportunities virtually. Through the Ohmni Pro Robots, 12 children from PCH enjoyed the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl from the safety of their own rooms. Each child was honored on the field and got to enjoy the game, concourse, and even meet players and ESPN broadcasters virtually.

These robots will continue to provide opportunities for Phoenix Children’s Hospital patients such as virtually visiting with their families, attending sporting events or going to school.

ISAIAH, PHOENIX CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL PATIENT AMBASSADOR

“Thank you, Fiesta Bowl, for all you do for Phoenix Children’s. I couldn’t be with you in person, but you made it possible for me to be with you guys. You are game-changers. Families at the hospital are going to love these robots.”
