iCall. With only 4 wires, we can go anywhere‌ Every new infrastructure and/or existing infrastructure can be extended with iCall, to integrate the communications, telephony applications, access control, fire alarm and intruder alarm systems.

Can be built on existing cabling IP room units are connected to the nearest data switch, which leads to huge savings in cabling costs. iCall can use the same cable pathways as other nurse call applications and the existing cabling can be reused in more than 97% of renovations.

It’s incredibly reliable and secure, with no single point of failure. All intelligence is moved to the IP units, which can serve one or more rooms.

Brings interactivity right to the room The iCall IP-Touch room unit with touchscreen is intuitive, for both the carer and the resident. Once logged in, the nursing staff can check off the scheduled tasks from the care plan and enter measurement results such as weight, temperature, blood pressure and also input medication details. Fully integrated wireless devices are available with wireless call/presence buttons, emergency buttons, pull chord units and motion detection.

The terminals feature a very clear display and a keypad suitable for use by elderly people. It has a handsfree facility available, ideal after a nurse call has been made from a room, which doesn’t need a command by the patient or resident. For staff, there is a page to multiple stations to make announcements, dramatically improving the communication channels between both the staff and the person who has requested assistance.
