Movement—on the court and in the classroom —is the key to success when educating students with dyslexia. Sandhills School’s multisensory environment and schedule accommodates multiple breaks, including two recess periods and an elective daily, to allow time for students to stretch and re-channel their energy so they can return to class focused and engaged in their lessons. In addition to the movement encouraged throughout the school day, Sandhills School offers a robust athletic program with a variety of competitive team sports. Sandhills is passionate about providing students with learning differences the tools and opportunities to succeed in and out of the classroom.
