WORK EXPERIENCE
Urban Design Build Studio, John Folan , Cafe 524 Homewood, Pittsburgh, PA Fall ’09 -Present , As part of a year long community design project eleven students worked under Architect John Folan to design and produce a set of construction documents for a building to be built in Homewood Pittsburgh. As part of this process the studio prefabricated a 12 ft x 100ft dual layer wall at a PJ Dick Contracting Corporation warehouse, the wall will be installed in the building after site construction begins. Redding Estate Construction Work, Redding, CT Sumer ’09, worked construction making renovations to the Arocena Estate in Redding Connecticut under the supervision of Architects Nicolas Arocena and Daniel Conlon. Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture, Wood Shop Monitorship Spring ’09, present: assisting people working in the woodshop, maintain machines and tools, shop projects Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture, Digital Media and Drawing Teaching Assistant Summer ‘07 & ’08, assisted David Burns in the teaching of IDM1 and drawing, provided help sessions for students Merrill and Pastor Architects, Architecture Internship, Vero Beach, FL ‘05 - ’06, assisted the firm with the production of construction drawings, renderings, and models.
COLLABORATIVE WORK
LDPE LOOP, Future Tenant Gallery, Pittsburgh, PA Summer ‘09, received $1000 grant from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundation for Undergraduate Research for an art and architecture installation at Future Tenant Gallery, this project was a collaboration between four architecture students focused on themes of reuse and modularity.

Lunar Gala: Visa Versa was selected to design and construct conceptual clothing for Carnegie Mellon Lunar Gala fashion show ‘07 in collaboration with another student.
