MARYKNOLL/MIRIAM COLLEGE GRAND ALUMNI HOMECOMING 2013 The date is set! This year’s Maryknoll/Miriam College Grand Alumni Homecoming will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013. The Silver Jubilee Class of Maryknoll High School 1988 is the host for this year’s homecoming. We graduated from different batches and during diverse eras of our Alma Mater. Through the years, people have come and gone, the campus has changed, and even our uniforms have their own story of evolution! Each one of us has a significant tale to tell during our days at MC. Yet one thing remains the same – the Blue and Gold spirit will always be radiating from within us. This year’s homecoming is aptly entitled, “Mga Kwentong MC: Mula Noon… Hanggang Ngayon.” The hands of time will turn around during this year’s celebration as we share our most beautiful memories when we were students while we pay our homage to our dear MC. So mark your calendars and get ready for a day of reminiscing with your classmates and friends. Bring your families so they, too, can witness your stories. Halina’t magkwentuhan tayo!

RICH PICKINGS 

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am”. --- John 14:1-3

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."--- Revelation 21:4

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." --- Philippians 4:6-7

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." --- Philippians 4:4-7

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” --- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." --- 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.” --Ephesians 2:4-9

“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” --- Hebrews 4:14-16
