A dutiful husband and a loving father, Naveen’s life falls apart when decades of festering secrets are exposed and he’s forced to face up to who he really is. He’s one of those people that suppresses - he’s suppressed the little voices inside of him that have been telling him that something’s not right in his life, and he’s been doing it for decades. All these tiny lies have accumulated into a life built on them - and today’s the day it all comes crashing down. This is a dark comedy with a real heart that seeks to bring a new, urgent representation of contemporary South Asian families to international screens. The film is directed by rising star Isher Sahota and features a top tier British Asian cast including Ace Bhatti, Laila Rouass, Lauren Patel, Navin Chowdry and Shaheen Khan as well as the Harry Potter franchise’s Mark Williams.
