We Don’t Have Photos Together

English, Hindi | India Fiction Feature | 145 mins Awaiting World Premiere

Satya (29) is a filmmaker, struggling to make his first feature film. The only peace in his life is the phone conversations with Urmilla (32), a schoolteacher. But the days we follow them, they fight often. After such quarrels, silence plays a major role in their conversations. Amidst one such passage of silence, Satya gets an idea for his script, It is about four couples, their quarrels and their personal lives. The story he narrates is not so different from their own lives. As his writing progresses, we witness their personal lives in his story and vice versa. As time passes, Satya is afraid of the truth he would have to face if he makes the film. He has begun to find joy in this mundanity. Life has become a routine in waiting. With each passing day, it becomes difficult for him to find a balance between the heaviness of waiting and the calmness of mundanity.
