International Puppet Underground Film Festival c/o Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative 301 – 1822 Scarth Street Regina, SK, S4P 2G3 306.757.8818 IPUFF@filmpool.ca Dear Sponsor: You are invited to be a part of the first ever International Puppet Underground Film Festival (IPUFF), one of a kind in Saskatchewan. Remember when every sock was a puppet and your favourite singer was a frog named Kermit? Don’t worry; you’ve grown up but so have the puppets. The International Puppet Underground Film Festival brings puppets and film together on the big screen for the first time in Saskatchewan. Watch the world through puppet eyes and join us as we travel back through time with a program of fantastical films that bring to life the sweet and sometimes bizarre almost all true histories of Saskatchewan and beyond. IPUFF will take to the stage and screen on April 6th and 7th, 2013 in Regina SK. In its inaugural year, the festival will showcase independent local, prairie and world premieres, as well as films from Heather Henson’s touring festival Handmade Puppet Dreams. Taking over screens, gallery at the Dunlop Art Gallery and the Regina Public Library Film Theatre, IPUFF includes an art exhibit, parties, artist talks and community workshops. IPUFF is a nonprofit event and relies primarily on grants, ticket sales and sponsorship for funding. This is an artist and community focused festival, with no entry fees the festival is committed to remaining accessible and fostering new filmmakers along with screening work from established filmmakers. Your sponsorship helps to foster and further the exhibition of independent film and cultural initiatives in Regina. By working with IPUFF will benefit by reaching a new audience through the festival program, website, logos on printed materials and physically at screenings themselves. Sponsorship in the form of cash, door prizes or advertisements and media presence will help us to cover the hard costs and allow the festival to showcase this unique style filmmaking and support local arts and culture in Regina. Sponsorship and donations of any size are accepted and can be tailored to your objectives and budget. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. Thank you for your consideration!

Sincerely,

Amber Christensen Festival Coordinator International Puppet Underground Film Festival
