DOUBLE ROUND IN BULGARIA
Vysoké Myto, Czech Republic, hosted the second round of the S3 European Championship. Local hero Matej Kokes won with ease both heats, followed by the German Lasse Welsch. Great race for the rookies Catorc Giani and Jivko Ivanon, who this season pass from the SM Junior to the S3. The French made it double in front of the Bulgarian, who finished twice second.
Fantastic and renowned all-asphalt Supermoto track in Pleven, Bulgaria, was the host of rounds 3 and 4 of the SM Junior European Championship under the perfect organization of the Bulgarian Motorcycle Federation.
Round 3 saw championship leader Giani Catorc (KTM) from France won by big margins both races. Local Bulgarian riders Radostin Mihaylov (KAWASAKI) and Jivko Ivanov (KTM) joined Catorc on the podium in second and third place respectively.
In round 4 Mihaylov won the first race in front of Catorc, who had some problems with a crash in mid-race. Even so, he did
a good second race and claimed the race, overall and won the Championship. Third for the overall was Ivanov.

The track of Castelletto di Branduzzo hosted an intense racing day which was full of emotions as Alex Ruiz Jemenez (L30 Racing TM Factory) was crowned Supermoto S4 European Champion.

Vysoké Myto, Czech Republic, hosted the second round of the SM Junior European Championship.
In race1 rider Matěj Kokeš riding for MIRA Racing Team on Husquarna was going to stay as dominant as throughout the whole Saturday. However, since the very start there were no hesitations anymore. Kokeš, who has benefited from the
perfect knowledge of his local circuit, managed to start well, and was stretching the lead ever since until the end of the race, lapping first rider already after 5 laps. At the finish line, Kokeš a was well ahead by a gap of 8,8 seconds to the second rider – German Lasse Welsch. Also
Welsch, riding Husquarna, had a calm race, not being endangered by anyone. In the 3rd place, Spaniard Ramon Godino on his Yamaha ma-
naged to finish the first race with a gap of 3,018 seconds to Welsch.
In race2 all the riders were fighting hard for the championship’s points, nevertheless Matěj Kokeš managed to pull away from the pack and rode to victory on his own. Behind him, the German Lasse Welsch and
the Spanish Ramon Godino were fighting for second position. Eventually, with two laps to go, Ramon Godino, who was the Championship leader, had to retire from the race due to technical issues. Husqvarna Matěj Kokeš, seized the victory in Race2, as well as overall. Lasse Wel-
sch finished second in Race 2 and
also overall. 3rd place in Race 2 and also overall was then taken by Latvian Mathias Vetkin (TM).

SM Junior Round 3
Round 3 of SM Junior started with a cle-
ar win of Czech rider Matej Kokes (HUQVARNA) in Race 1, who managed to build and maintain a good gap to second place Estonian rider Mathias Vetkin (TM). In both races third and fourth places were respectively for Estonian Rasmus Ebelmann (HUSQVARNA) and Spanish Ramon Godino (YAMAHA), while Vetkin managed to pull a win in the second race to tie Kokes in points and win the overall, as Kokes finished right after Vetkin.
SM Junior Round 4
Things got interesting in SM Junior Race 1 as Vetkin made a mistake in the warm-up lap and had to start from the pitlane as the last rider of the race. Kokes took profit of the mistake and managed to get out in front and lead without any big emotions. But Vetkin did a wonderful catch-up race and managed by the end of the 10lap race to reach second place in front of Ebelmann, Godino and Austrian Christoph Steiner (KTM), who were third-fourth and fifth in the race. Vetkin managed to win the second race and the overall in front of Kokes, while the 3-5 place came in the same order.

SM Junior Race 1
The first race of the Junior category was full of emotions and twists. Czech rider Matej Kokes (Husqvarna), author of the pole position, was awarded a penalty at the start of the race. After the first cor-
ner Mathias Vetkin (KTM) took the lead of the field followed by Ramon Godino (TM). Vetkin battled it out with Kokes and thanks to a solid race pace and a mistake in the off-road was able to leave his rival
behind.
Vetkin won the race and classified in front
of Ramon Godino and Matej Kokes. Home rider Andrea Benvenuto classified fourth.
SM Junior Race 2
The second race of the SM Junior category was full of action. At the start three riders pulled away leaving rivals behind. Matej Kokes (Husqvarna) led the race and handled rival Mathias Vetkin (TM). Championship leader Ramon Godino classified third. The three riders were the protagonists of an audacious battle. Godino remains the red plate holder in the Championship standings, but Matej Kokes got closer to the Spanish rider with only a 2-point gap. The two rivals will fight for the victory at the final race of the Championship, scheduled in France in mid-October.
