hen scouting for your next print, television, web or film location, we highly recommend you consider the impact that our idyllic setting could offer your production. Our unique enclave in the rainforest is home to not only the most whimsical treehouses in the world, but provides exclusive access to acres of colorful tropical gardens, rugged riverscapes, dramatic waterfalls, and diverse jungle canopy. We’ve got your ‘wow’ factor covered, and then some! This enchanting location has a visual impact that cannot be replicated anywhere on the planet. Finca Bellavista, while a one-of-a-kind concept, is also located in a oneof-a-kind place. The finca as a whole, comprised of 600+ acres of scenic wonders, provides a nearly custom-built backdrop to house the world’s first master planned, modern, sustainable, and truly arboreal treehouse community. Treehouses, ziplines, waterfalls, and rainforest combine to create the quintessential Costa Rica experience and provide a magical backdrop for this completely off-grid locale.

erched overlooking the Golfo Dulce and nurtured by two whitewater rivers, the location of our neighborhood is unmatched in its magnificence and pulses with life. While it feels far removed from the outside world, Finca Bellavista boasts easy access to some of the country’s most stunning natural assets, like National Parks, isolated beaches and epic mountainscapes. Located just 30 minutes from two regional airports, and only 3 kilometers off the paved InterAmericana Highway, Finca Bellavista is amazingly easy to reach, economical, secluded, and eco-friendly.
It’s off the ground, off the grid, and out of this world! Planning your production in Costa Rica will also provide much more value than other tropical locations on offer. Centrally located on the isthmus of Central America, it’s easy and safe to travel to Costa Rica. The Juan Santamaria International Airport is a short, direct route from many U.S. and international airline hubs. On average, it only takes 3 hours to get here from Miami, 5 hours from New York City, and 7 hours from Los Angeles. Costa Rica’s reputation for being a peaceful and safe destination attracts over 1 million tourists per year.

orld-renowned as a pioneering green country, Costa Rica historically boasts the most stable democracy and economy in Latin America. For all of these reasons and more, Finca Bellavista makes sense as the stage for your next production. The seduction of our ideal, year-round tropical climate can’t be understated either. Temperatures at Finca Bellavista average in the 80s during the day, and the 60s at night all year long, easing many of the headaches normally associated with planning around seasonal weather patterns. Such perfect weather takes most of the guesswork out of scheduling a production.
Finca Bellavista has hosted a wide variety of international productions - from newspaper and magazine shoots, to documentary and film crews and other media – and can handily facilitate your crew’s production. Team FBV has worked closely with producers, videographers, directors, sound technicians, editors and photographers from all over the world, including Korea, Germany, Switzerland, United States, Canada, Portugal, Italy, Russia, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, Hungary, Brazil, France, Costa Rica, Austria, the U.K., Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Mexico. In 2011, we hosted the American Eagle Outfitters Summer advertising campaign photo shoot. For five days, our location services staff guided, assisted, facilitated and fed the extended AE team of nearly 60 people. Team FBV has a keen understanding of the challenges and features present on-site, and we know how to stage the best angles (including arboreal perspectives from our Sky Trail Network) and shots for a variety of mediums. Nobody knows the nooks, crannies, and secluded spots of the finca like we do, and the fastest ways to get from points A to B to C. Our intimate knowledge of this sprawling site will help your production team make the most of its limited and precious time here in Costa Rica.
