Acoustic Options

In need of sound control? Ask your sales representative about our new Sibilance® High Performance Acoustic Felt or our Nimbus® wrapped acoustic panels. Whether you’re specifying a Level design or supplying your own artwork, we have an acoustic solution for you! We currently offer three basic acoustic solutions:

STANDARD REPEAT ACOUSTICAL WALLCOVERING (on Sibilance®)

§ Standard Repeat Acoustic Wallcoverings are a curated selection of repeat-pattern designs printed via dye-sublimation on our Sibilance® High Performance Acoustical Felt. § This product is installed directly to the wall, similarly to traditional vinyl wallcovering. § They can be found both in the Level books and online, and samples are available. § Although not customizable as-is, custom options are available (ask your sales representative for details). § Sold by the yard.

CUSTOM ACOUSTIC WALLCOVERING (on Sibilance®)

§ Any design in the Level collection can be custom-specified on Sibilance® High Performance Acoustical Felt. § This product is installed directly to the wall, similarly to digital vinyl wallcovering. § Colors and scale can be customized. § Custom acoustic wallcoverings are all sized to specifications.

CUSTOM ACOUSTICAL PANELS (on Nimbus®)

§ Any design in the Level collection can be custom-specified onto our Nimbus® Acoustically Transparent Fabric, to be wrapped around acoustic panels. § Ask your sales representative for information regarding acoustic panel options. § Colors and scale can be customized. § Acoustical Panels are all sized to specifications. NOTE: Metallics and gloss effects are not available on acoustic products.

Sibilance® vs. Nimbus®

We currently offer two acoustic materials, each designed to address specific performance needs:

SIBILANCE®

§ Thick felt wallcovering § Used for all custom and standard repeat acoustical wallcoverings § Derived from 100% post industrial recycled polyester § Provides an acoustically rated noise coefficient (NRC) of .20 § Highly resistant to shrinking and stretching § Coated for maximum stain resistance and lightfastness (has a lightfastness rating of 5) § Antimicrobial Technology: Silver & copper ions incorporated into the polyester fiber naturally attack microbes § Does not absorb moisture making it a durable and long-lasting solution § Easily installed using traditional wallcovering paste and butt seams leaving no visible overlap § Dye-Sublimated printing

NIMBUS®

§ Thinner, lightweight fabric § Acoustically transparent; used to wrap around acoustically-absorptive fiberglass panels § Wrinkle-resistant, warp knit polyester § 40% recycled content § Dye-Sublimated printing
