OCTOBER 2012
WELCOME
Dear FC Champions. In less than four years as a company and we are already recognized as the BEST by the home players in the industry. In september, Fine & Country International West Africa was awarded the Best Real Estate Support Service Company, at the Real Estate Unite Conference in Lagos, Nigeria. This accolade is a motivation to remain pivoted in maintaining focus in delivering on our core forte - excellence. Separation is hard, yet is necessary when it is for a good cause. It is definitely hard to say good bye to the man we call T.O, who until September, has functioned in the capacity of the Vice President, Fine & Country West Africa and is moving on to other endeavors. We wish him the best ! I wish to say hearty congrats to the new project leads on the Belvedere and on Osborne Towers & Eden Heights respectively. Get details of these and more in the news nuggets. Have a happy 52nd Independence Anniversary Celebrations . Best wishes for the month of October. God bless.

THE ART OF SELF APPRAISAL In my search for absolute excellence, I have over the time found out that the biggest stumbling block to any self set goal or target is ‘MYSELF’. Simply put; ‘I AM MY OWN LIMITATION’. We often are quick to blame our lack of success to an event, person, past experience, luck (or lack of), heritage and God but never really on the core issue (myself).
The questions we FC champions should ask ourselves daily are “Is this my ultimate best?” and “Can this be improved on?” Back when I was a kid growing up we always marched into our classes after the morning assembly singing (or shouting as the case is for someone like me who is tone deaf) UNTIL MY GOOD IS BETTER AND MY BETTER BEST Even thou the assemblies are long gone, I challenge you all FC Champions to UP your game. You are the change, so go out and make the difference. Have a result driven October. In line with our C.E.O’ s firm belief that everyone has the potential to be a leader, Michael has been asked to stand in as a guest columnist on our C.E.O’s page

HAPPY 52ND INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY. At Fine & Country, we believe that the best way to predict the future is to create it. Nigeria is a country that is blessed beyond measure with so much human and natural resources, therefore instead of bemoaning about the prevailing challenges, we are excited about the future and we are shaping it. Through out the month of October Fine & Country would be celebrating and disseminating our good will message through various mediums, already we are participating in a event tagged ‘For The Love Of Country’ : a theatre musicale event geared towards fanning the flames of patriotism. Watch out for the special independence edition of our monthly inserts which amplifies the message of hope.

NEWS FLASH SAYING GOOD BYE TO A GREAT MAN. He taught us how to be laser focused, how to be goal oriented, how to be perceptive and how to be visionaries. Words would not suffice in describing Tunji Osinulu, popularly called T.O. In the brief time he functioned in the capacity of Vice President; he has made immense impact on the team and has touched lives in various aspects. He is stepping aside as the VP and moving on to other endeavors. He would be greatly missed.
