A step in the right direction

Say what you will about the property market, but it is certainly never boring. After a tumultuous final quarter of 2022, this year has started with a few steps in the right direction. While there is no doubt there will be challenges ahead, I think it is safe to say that stability is returning to the market and the light at the end of the tunnel is getting a little brighter, especially in the prime property sector.

High-end homes continue to attract the attention of buyers and international investors alike. Overall, the housing market has experienced significant growth over the past few years; however, prime properties have remained particularly strong and sought-after. The result of the sustained demand within the upper quartile of the market is that year-on-year price growth in the premium markets is currently outpacing the remainder of the market.

Another aspect that continues to see positive growth is our international footprint, with the directors of the Costa Blanca North office now focused on expanding the brand in Spain. The region is in good hands, with Fine & Country Costa Blanca North having won many prestigious awards for real estate excellence, as well as being recognised in the Top 100 Real Estate Brokers and Developers in the world by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards.
