Whist looking for a property 10 years ago, we came across Number 21. We were looking for a home in a village but also within reasonable distance to nearby towns and the coast. We found Marldon to be the perfect location with the primary school just down the road and village shops a stone’s throw away. However, it was the far reaching views towards Dartmoor that really sold it to us.

We purchased number 21 as a 2-bedroom bungalow, but as time passed, our family grew and we soon realised we needed additional living spaces. We loved the place so much that in 2018 we decided to embark on a ‘Grand Designs’ style project, extending quite substantially, out, up, down and to the side. By doing so, we have created the perfect family home, in a peaceful cul-de-sac, where the children can play outside in a safe and friendly neighbourhood.

However, now is the time for us to make the move from here. The desire to own more land and provide ancillary living has prompted our decision to do this. We very much hope that the new owners of Number 21 will enjoy this fabulous family home as much as we have.”*
