SELLER INSIGHT

What first attracted you to the property (plot)?

The riverfront setting, incredible architecture, big garden on the river and the accessibility from London.

What are the best aspects of the property?

The architecture with open plan layout, lots of light, all double bedrooms with ensuites and easy maintenance. In addition, being on the river and within easy reach from London (especially with the new Elizabeth line).

Do you have a favourite room?

The master bedroom with the floor to ceiling window looking onto the garden and river. Waking up there each morning is lovely.

What will you miss about the property?

The ability to go on our boat from our private mooring on the river.

Is there anything unusual or quirky that’s worth mentioning about the property or grounds?

The real unique factor of the property is the river front setting and the ability to go on your boat directly from your home along the river.

What’s the local area like?

There is a lovely and active community which regularly organises events (e.g. to celebrate the platinum jubilee) and a Loddon Drive group mailing list. Wargrave has some very nice cafes and Henley is a nearby charming river town.

Why are you selling / moving?

We had a baby in last year (and have two other young children) and so have less time to visit the property (it is a second home).
