Museum Masters International & Tota Pulchra Vatican Art Develop Long-term Marketing and Exhibition Program ROME & NEW YORK, 6 December, 2018:
The organization known as Tota Pulchra Vatican Art, and Museum Masters International of Southampton, New York, are in the process of forming a long-term series of exhibitions and merchandising accord, for art and music expositions for Rome and Vatican through the creative organization known as Tota Pulchra, and throughout other Rome and Italian locations, it was announced jointly by Dr. Valerio Monda, Secretary, and Gabriele Russo, of Tota Pulchra and Marilyn Goldberg, President of MMI. Ms. Goldberg was chosen for this prestigious position based on her lifetime work of establishing successful art programs around the world, notably the Catherine the Great exhibition at The Hermitage in Russia and numerous other major museum presentations including Vincent van Gogh, Picasso, Dali, Andy Warhol and Tamara de Lempicka to name a few. a cultural experience. We are in need of your passion for both Art and Music to plan the futures of Rome and Vatican ground exhibitions. One of Ms. Goldberg’s primary functions is to assist the Ambassador of the United States in Rome as Ambassador of the Arts due to her endless passion with valid artists and major accomplishments worldwide.” Additionally, Museum Masters has been asked to propose Tota Pulchra Vatican Art and assorted exhibitions all over the globe and Ms. Goldberg will be participating in organizing an Art School in Florence for which Alan Pascuzzi was selected by Monsignor Gervais to become headmaster. “This whole thing came about as a result of my passion for Rome, and introductions made by Marco Rotundi, a close friend of the Vatican Group and Tota Pulchra,” commented Ms. Goldberg, who has been been selected to make special efforts for Rome, as she has done for Russia (State Hermitage and Catherine the Great); France (Picasso); London (Erté); New York ( John Lennon, Bob Marley exhibitions); Spain (Dali) and The Netherlands, van Gogh. The first artist discussed for future release by his publisher for a launch in a few months was Alan Pascuzzi, considered an offspring of the great Michelangelo, who has studied every detail of ancient Vatican art. Ms. Goldberg and her past successes, from Pablo Picasso, his granddaughter Marina Picasso, Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Erté, Tamara de Lempicka and many new up and coming artists, will honor the goals which are: to encourage young artists to experiment with bringing spirituality into their paintings and music. Tota Pulchra reserves the right to approve the choice of artists, exhibitions and merchandising that will be exhibited in Rome. Artistic venues from Japan and other global entities jointly selected by Museum Masters and Monsignor Gervais for their spiritual and artistic visions will be showcased. The first artist they have approved and are releasing December 6 is María Teresa Munoz Guillen. On her recent trip to Rome, Ms. Goldberg received an honorary membership card in addition to a card from the Pope signed by Monsignor Gervais. The next honor planned will be at the “Sala del Vasari” in the Palazzo. The brand logo of the association is two linked figures intertwined TOTA PULCHRA VATICAN ART. Museum Masters will create a seal using the logo with TOTA PULCHRA and below: VATICAN ART. The expression sounds very good and for cultured people indicates a refined brand, linked with Rome, culture, art, the seat of the Papacy and della Cancelleria Vaticana. Ms. Goldberg will be presented her award in the splendid Sala del Vasari in the Palazzo della Cancelleria Vaticana as Ambassador of the Arts. In the playing fields of modern culture, few have done as much to make great art accessible to so many as Marilyn Goldberg. A reservoir of artistic ideas and ideals, her unbridled enthusiasm to elevate life into the Art of Living has brought the imagery and energy of the icons of art history into the homes of countless art lovers. María Teresa Muñoz Guillén
Born in Sariñena (Huesca, Spain), María Teresa Muñoz Guillén is a professional artist in the textile industry. Its formation is global and heterogeneous. Her trade in the fabric industry was born three generations ago. In this period of time, the materials, the artistic forms, the styles, the way of producing and the evolution of taste and artistic design have changed exponentially, as has scientific research and artistic restoration. Therefore, her artistic style has changed very often in these years. María Teresa Muñoz Guillén graduated in Philosophy and Literature (History branch) at the University of Zaragoza and in Human Sciences, specialization in Primary Education at the same university. She serves as official researcher of the Directorate General of Fine Arts, Archives and Libraries of Spain, Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. Her historical-artistic education “absolutely” influenced the way she works as an artist. “From the first moment, my training and practice have taken a double path. In the first place, I was interested in the historical-artistic study of the different techniques, materials, colors, models and the design as an artistic creation that contributes to the fabric. I was also very keen on research in different artistic styles that included the fabric as an artistic creation. On the other hand, the works I have done have been determined for design, drawing techniques, color processing and aesthetic agreement depending on the type of work.” In developing her creative skills to the maximum, Marîa Teresa had to learn different techniques, “Their evolution is in line with the development of materials and artistic tastes, but usually we tried out aesthetic innovations in those group works. In this way, my production has played a part in innovating, above all, with the conception of design, but also respecting the iconographic and aesthetic tradition of the artistic tradition.” José Manuel: Did you have any model of historical / artistic inspiration that influenced your production as a contemporary artist? María Teresa: In all these years I have been interested in the use of fabric color made by many unknown artists of Antiquity. To get to this technical delicacy you have to do a lot of color tests, research into the consistency of the material and the composition of the fibers. Compared to other artists and movements, I was very interested in Art Nouveau, Spanish Modernism and the Page 6 • SunStorm/Fine Art • December 2018

Pre-Raphaelites. I have always tried to remove the boundaries between artistic conception and realization, between art and craftsmanship. Only in this way will the work be complete and precise, transcending the manual activity of the artistic sector. José Manuel: How is your relationship with Sacred Art? María Teresa: Sacred Art is a specialization of the fabric sector for its important iconographic role. The doctrinal symbology, the concordance with the drawing and the semantics in the composition must be in agreement with the rich liturgy of the Catholic Church. The work I did for the Church brought me shock, surprises and aesthetic lighting. José Manuel: How is it for you to create Sacred Art? Given the spiritual wealth, do you consider that the realization is different from other artistic works? Do you consider that Sacred Art can contribute to improving our society? María Teresa: Today, in a de-sacralized world, where industrial production seeks reproducibility, mercantilist homogenization and above all the absence of transcendental values, our society has lost this belief in everything that goes beyond the superficial. When I started working in this Catholic

Textile silver, classic and contemporary textile art (hangings, tapestries, heraldic shields, embroidery, ornaments, portraits) comprise a brief panoply of works of textile art designed and executed by M. Teresa Muñoz, focusing on the various techniques that have developed this aesthetic over the centuries, together with representations of traditional symbols (stemma, iconography varieties, etc.) to re-creations in contemporary art textiles, also showing examples of pieces with scope in other areas. The idea of color can only be appreciated once the work is captured, with the rich nuances of the textile that has nothing to do with the colors of print or screen.
universe, I always tried to find this transcendental sense, studying a lot to get to this spiritual conception that makes Sacred Art different from profane art. José Manuel: And finally, could you highlight some important work of your artistic production? María Teresa: In the profane list I would like to highlight several “reposteros”, that is, fabric similar to the tapestry, in which are added heraldic motifs. I remember the official coat of arms of the Government of Aragon and those of the kings Philip II and Charles III, commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain. Sacred Art has a special meaning: a cloak with the coat of arms of El Justicia de Aragón made for the Virgen del Pilar (Our Lady of Pilar), which is the patron saint of Saragossa, Aragon, Spain and all of Spain.
