A warm welcome from us We fell in love with Moxhull Hall the first time we visited it and as soon as our renovation work began we truly believed it would make for a wonderful setting for a wedding. And so it did. The surrounding peacefulness makes Moxhull Hall the perfect location for drinks and canapés in the beautiful gardens followed by a marquee reception on our lawns and of course we are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships in our beautiful oak panelled room or in our stunning new ‘secret garden’ outside. Our recent extensive work on the eight acre grounds has provided new and exciting photographic opportunities and the beautiful Victorian house is somewhere couples can call their own for their special day. Choosing the right wedding venue is a big decision but one which is often made quickly once you have found the right place for you. What we believe we offer is more than just a place to hold your wedding. What we focus on, more than anything else is building a relationship with our couples and providing a personal and friendly service to the highest standards.
We have a fantastic team of people working with us and our aim is to make all the dreams you have for your special day a reality. Your very own wedding co-ordinator will guide you through the planning of every stage of your big day. Our experienced team of chefs will amaze you with their mouth watering food and you will be delighted with the high standard accommodation on offer to you and your guests. We feel privileged to be able to share such a special time in people’s lives and we are dedicated to helping you organise every aspect of your day. Once upon a time THE HISTORY OF MOXHULL HALL Moxhull Hall is a beautiful Victorian building set in 8 acres of land and has recently undergone a major refurbishment. It offers 19 bedroom overlooking the grounds and all are individually designed to a high specification. The story of Moxhull begins at the turn of the last century when it was built by Mr Howard Ryland, Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire and Lord of the Manor of Moxhull and Wishaw, after the old hall, Moxhull Park had been burned down in somewhat mysterious circumstances.
The new hall was built using the very best material and skills available at that time. The entrance was designed around a magnificent carved oak staircase taken originally from Kenilworth Castle where it had reputedly been used by Elizabeth I. The hotel also reputedly housed the first outdoor swimming pool in the country. The Rylands held Moxhull until 1926 after which time it passed through various owners before being converted to a hotel in 1969.
The present building at the park (now Belfry Hotel) was the stables and groom’s quarters of the original Moxhull Park Manor.

Moxhull Hall operates as a private wedding venue; we hold only one wedding party on any given day; all our newly refurbished bedrooms are reserved only for your wedding guests should you require them and all our grounds and buildings are exclusively for you and your guests to enjoy.
We are committed to providing all our couples with a very personal service. You will be introduced to your very own wedding co-ordinator who will guide you through all the preparations leading up to the big day and who will also be with you on the day itself.

EAT, DRINK & BE MERRY Smaller wedding parties can enjoy their wedding breakfasts in the main house whilst larger numbers can celebrate in our beautiful marquee situated in the hotel gardens. Fitted in rich ivory fabrics and stunning starlight ceiling the marquee presents your guests with a romantic yet sophisticated venue. The modern black and white dance floor gives ample room for your guests to party the night away to your choice of band or DJ.
We work closely with you to meet all your catering requirements, from drinks reception and canapĂŠs, through to our extensive selection of wedding breakfast menus and various evening reception options. Our catering team will certainly make and impression on your guests! Catering for you evening reception will be tailor made to suit you. Whether it be a lavish buffet menu, evening barbeque, cocktail style canapĂŠs or bacon rolls, our experienced catering team will be sure to satisfy all tastes.
Either location will be set up with your flowers, favours and decorations by our experienced team, giving you the look and atmosphere you want to create.

I DO... CIVIL CEREMONIES & PARTNERSHIPS Civil Ceremonies and partnerships can be held in our beautiful oak panelled Grove Room, which set with roaring fire and overlooking the magnificent grounds creates a wonderfully luxurious venue for you to exchange your vows. Alternatively, we are delighted to offer the truly unique and magical setting of Caliope’s Garden which is a must-see for all true romantics! We call this our secret garden as it is hidden away and is nestled amongst surrounding woodland in our grounds. Getting married outdoors is an option for couples getting married in the spring and summer months.
If you would like to make a booking to hold a civil ceremony at Moxhull Hall, you must first make a provisional booking with us and then contact the Superintendent Registrar for North Warwickshire at the address below. They will discuss all the legal requirements with you and of course we will help you plan this aspect of your wedding too.
