Open the shades/blinds so that your home looks more inviting. Does the main exterior front photo look a little crooked to you? Are interior corners leaning in? Make sure that whoever takes your photos, whether it is you (the owner), the agent, or the professional photographer, observes “vertical lines” by keeping the camera level and using a tripod. For the “wow” factor and an additional cost, you may want to consider having an elevated or aerial photo taken of your home. If your home has lots of windows and architectural appeal, a twilight photo may grab the eye of a potential buyer. The first marketing dollars should be spent on great photos. But remember, even the best pictures won’t help sell your house if it hasn’t been priced correctly based on condition, current market data and the competition.
