The theme of this year’s edition reflects the unprecedented times we’ve been living through lately. Digitalisation has become the name of the game and COVID-19 plays as a huge accelerator towards digital economy and the adoption of digital habits. Our A-list Speakers and Keynotes from the entire Europe will share their experience on how they rose to the challenge in this time of crisis and how they envision the future.

Programme We will explore today’s most important issues and burning questions in regard to the following topics:

/ Banking The world of finance has been put under great pressure recently. Open Banking and Open Data are at the heart of the present evolution and the key to the future. We will take the pulse of the current European banking ecosystem and compare it to other regions of the world. Our speakers will share their vision of the future and shed light on new opportunities. We’ll learn how big and small companies are adapting to the accelerating rate of change.

/ Insurance Historically, insurers price and aggregate risk in order to protect people and business against losses and injuries. This is still the case today, but the current risk assessment methods are evolving from historical data models towards more complex technology-based solutions that offer new insights and possibilities. The increasing amount of data and the hyper-connectivity represent new opportunities such as real-time claims processing and risk-assessments for individuals and corporates. We’ll explore the way technology will help the insurance industry protect our cities, mobility and wellbeing.

/ Technology Everyone agrees that technology is at the core of the world of tomorrow . But how can we seize all the opportunities it offers? What about the risks? These are the questions our speakers will answer by explaining why they adopted specific technological solutions, presenting us with the latest technological advancements and their vision for the future.

/ The World after COVID-19 How different will the world be after COVID-19? Will the world’s balance shift? Who will gain and who will lose from the current transition? It seems that a minority of companies and sectors have benefited from the crisis, others were able to keep their head above water thanks to their fast adaptability and resilience, while the vast majority suffered the dire consequences. So how can digital finance help the world be more resilient and adaptable?

& Networking Opportunities During coffee breaks, lunch and the closing cocktail, participants will have ample opportunity to enjoy different booths/demos and exchange with speakers, sponsors, partners and staff members. Whether on site or digitally, a number of networking areas will provide them with the possibility to have a more quiet chat if needed. Wireless internet will be foreseen throughout the venue. Private physical or digital rooms of various sizes can also be rented for specific meetings or small satellite symposia.


Evening Closing Drink At the end of the day, a drink and a typical Belgian light walking dinner will be taking place at the same venue for all the participants to enjoy. And what if..? #covid19 Worried about the resurgence of the virus and a potential confinement 2.0 of any sort? Please do not worry... On the one hand, we stay up to date with all sanitary guidelines from our Government, we will do everything we can to protect everyone according to the situation end of November and the sanitary measures to be put in place. On the other hand, if we have to respect strong restrictions in terms of number of attendees, we will be creative, as you know we can be! We have already prepared several scenarios for a fully digital OR a hybrid event. In case attendees will have to attend the event from behind their screen, we guarantee a better fitted and more appropriate program to this format.
