The Haus Of Anthos is a public building that is tributed to the herbs of the Botanic Garden. It is a center that uses herbs from the Oxford Botanic Gardens to make herbal tea, coffee, soap, medicine and skin care products. It consists of a herbal café with outdoor seating area, a Herbal shop to buy herbal products and medicines. HAUS OF ANTHOS The Haus Of Anthos is located on Rose Lane, Oxford, United Kingdom in a quiet and green area, next to the Botanical Gardens. It can be accessed through High street and Christ Church Meadow

SEATING AREA The Haus Of Anthos strongly encourages people to become more in touch with the environment and promotes a natural lifestyle, as well as to understand the importance of use of the natural herbs in the future. Raising awareness of the history of the Oxford Botanic Gardens to encourage interaction between all communities

1:20 CONSTRUCTION DETAIL VENTILATION – There are openings in the glasshouse that allow for natural ventilation, as well as rain and birds

SUNLIGHT – When the sun hits the self tinted stained glass, rays of colour penetrate through the building. The self tinting stained glass helps to control the heat in the building. When the sun is strong the glass tints and becomes darker and vice versa.

ACOUSTICS – Rendering is applied out the exterior and interior of the ‘poppies’. This was not only applied to created a natural and curved look, but it also acts as a sound buffer

The water stream that runs through the building recycles rainwater and it provides irrigation for planting. This is done through a pumping system that filters the rainwater as well as preventing the water from being still (this would create algae growth). The curved ‘poppies’ allow an easier rainwater run off into the water stream

The Hall

My family wanted to open a nail salon named ‘The Hall’ in Athens, Greece. I took it upon myself in collaboration with an interior architect, to design it. It services manicure, pedicure and facials.

WORKS EXPERIENCE I – NOUS INTERIOR ARCHITECTS This private residence is located in Koropi, Athens, Greece. I designed the external shaping, facades, fencing and entrance of the property. The minimal design was requested by the clients. The external shaping includes: large steps leading up to the entrance of the house, partitions to hide their vegetable garden, large parking with a canopy, outdoor barbeque and dining area, seating area, a pool, sunbathing area, and an outdoor shower.

The team and I, converted a shop into a residence, remodelled and designed the interior spaces. Minimal, modern and Cycladic designs were requested by the clients.
