Toughest Firefighter Alive South Africa 2022

The seventh official ‘Toughest Firefighter Alive South Africa (TFA-SA)’ Open challenge will be held at De Bakke Beach in Mossel Bay, South Africa, on 16 and 17 September 2022. The video, https://youtu.be/ xCC0ssbh3x4, shares a special message from the Executive Mayor of Mossel Bay, Alderman Dirk Kotzé, to all Toughest Firefighter Alive South Africa 2022 participants. The TFA-SA event is based on the international event and has become South Africa’s premier fire fighter fitness challenge with the best competitors chosen to represent South Africa internationally. The TFA-SA competition allows fire fighters to compete on a national platform and measure their skills and expertise against the best in South Africa. The entry fees are R150 for individuals and R550 for teams.

a. Individual Age Categories (as on day of TFA competition) b. Men’s Individual Open (18-29 years) c. Men’s Individual Senior (A) (30-34 years) d. Men’s Individual Senior (B) (35-39 years) e. Men’s Individual Master (A) (40-44 years) f. Men’s Individual Master (B) (45-49 years) g. Men’s Individual Grand Master (A) (50 years and over) h. Women Individual Open (18-29 years) i. Women Individual Senior (A) (30-34 years) j. Women Individual Senior (B) (35-39 years) k. Women Individual Master (40years and over)

Relay team categories (fastest time wins)

a. Male Open b. Female Open c. Male over 40 Relay event: individuals from different regions are allowed to enter as a team. For the relay male over 40 event, all the team members have to be over 40 years.

To partake in the competition the following is required: 1. Completed registration forms 2. Indemnity forms 3. Driver’s license or ID 4. Proof of payment of Registration fee
