I suppose this is the section where I tell you how much we love photography, how long we have toted a camera with us everywhere and how our business has grown out of a desire to capture the important people in our lives doing the things they love. DYNAMIC LIGHTING We use strobes, softboxes and reflector to create this extreme look in our portraits. Even when the light is soft, we can use off-camera flash to add a punchy look to our images. These types of images are extremely appealing in more athletic shots. The setups for these portraits use more equipment and time but are extremely desired for an edgier look.

IT ’S IN THE DETAILS KEE P I T S I M P LE : • Keep your clothing visually simple. Don’t bring outfits with words or designs, stripes or pictures, except possibly your school logo. You want your face, eyes and expression to command attention, not the words on your shirt • Stick to a color palette of three to four complementary colors • Layers are flattering and a way to show personality • Keep hair simple and clean • Non-glare glasses keep glare at bay
get the look: It’s tempting to get very “glam” when having pictures taken, but this could very well make you look like a stranger in your senior portrait. Apply your makeup as you normally look on a day-to-day basis, but bring your makeup with you and let the photographer know you have it.
We encourage you to br ing a fr iend if t hat person can help make you relax and t ake a nat ural pict ure. That person can also help w it h clot h ing changes and “double check ” you wh ile you’ re being photographed to make sure your clot h ing hasn’t t aken a t ur n for t he worse or t hat your hair hasn’t come all undone.
