Jesus said the world will know us by our love. We love people by first loving fellow believers in the church, and then loving and meeting the needs of people in Denton and around the world.
Make Disciples
Disciples are simply followers of Jesus Christ. We seek to make disciples through our worship services, Sunday Groups, Bible studies and one-on-one relationships. Our goal is to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Share Jesus
At First Denton we believe everyone is called by God to share Jesus with those who are not yet believers in Christ. We are all ministers and God gives us unique opportunities to share the gospel message with those in our circles of influence.

Christmas Poinsettias If you would like to order a Christmas poinsettia to help decorate the Worship Center for the holiday season, please contact Deb Kingrey at 940.382.2577, x150 or debk@firstdenton.org. You may dedicate the plant in honor or in memory of a loved one and it will be listed in the bulletin on Sunday, December 21. Each plant is $15. Church Offices Closed The church offices will be closed Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. We hope you enjoy this time with your family and friends. Students
Girls Lock-In November 21 • 9 pm • CLC Our Girls Only Lock-In will be a night with movies, snacks, games and crazy fun for high school and middle school girls! Please bring unwanted or gently used clothes for the clothing swap. You can bring jewelry, purses or additional accessories as well. Any clothes that are left at the end of the night will be donated. Guys Paintball War November 22 • 9 am All high school and middle school guys are welcome to play paintball with Kyle on November 22! Wear something you don't mind getting paint on. Sign up sheets will be at the Scoop table on the Studen Floor on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. The cost is $30. Family
Blessings Tree November 16–December 14 The Blessings Tree is a way for our church members to receive help with Christmas gifts for their children. If you would like to have your children anonymously put on the church's Blessings Tree or if you would like to adopt one of our church families, visit FirstDenton.org/blessings.

Deacons Meeting There will be a deacons meeting on Saturday, November 22 at 8 am in South Hall A&B. A light breakfast will be served. Adult 55+
Game Day November 25 • 1 pm • FH Our Adult 55+ Ministry meets for table games on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 1–4 pm in Fellowship Hall. Bring finger foods to share and come join the fun! Missions
Elves Shelves Donations November 23 • 13–16 year olds Elves Shelves is an outreach ministry that assists families within our community who are not able to provide Christmas gifts for their children. Each Sunday in November we will be collecting toys for various age groups on the worship center stage. Worship & Music
Christmas Celebration Tickets December 7 & 8 • 7 pm Christmas Celebration tickets are available in the main office today, or during the week. Rehearsals have begun and water bottles are needed for participants. You can drop off donations in the Music Office. Volunteer opportunities are at FirstDenton.org/christmas. Recreation
Christ Commanders Outdoor Ministry November 17 • 6 pm • CLC Christ Commanders is an outdoor ministry that promotes and organizes events for those who love the outdoors and enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting and camping. Christ Commanders meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month to plan and coordinate events. If you would like to be involved in this ministry, you can join us these nights in the CLC at 6 pm.
