VERSE FOR THE MONTH
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing. Psalm 100:1-2
Make a Joyful Noise July 6-9, 201 5 8am-12pm The children will be singing, playing instruments, creating their own instruments and moving to music as they rotate through classes which feature these special topics. A daily highlight will be a concert provided by UGA students, community musicians, and church members. Our featured guest for the week is Dr. Arvin Scott who specializes in African drumming.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL At VBS we learned about the courage that God gave to David, the wisdom God gave to Deborah, how God saved Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, when Jesus gave Bartimaeus his sight, and when God sent Ananias to Saul. The theme was Camp Discovery and we played games, sang songs, and did arts and crafts. Thank you to the following people who helped and made VBS a big success! A few reminders for nursery parents Please make sure all diaper bags, sippy cups etc are marked with your child’s name. All children being potty trained need an extra outfit in their bag… accidents do happen :)

FBC Children’s Choir News Children’s Choir will start back up again in August with the theme “Choosing God’s Way”! Enrollment night will be on August 12 and the first rehearsal will be on August 19. The Children’s Choirs did a wonderful job leading in worship on May 3, 2015 for Children’s Sunday. Their theme was “Children are a Gift from God”. The children led in worship by singing, praying, reading scripture, and playing instruments. These photos represent scenes from their special day in worship!
