THE HYBRID MONSTER THAT REDEFINES SUPERCAR STANDARDS

The Lamborghini Temerario, launched in August 2024, promises to be a revolution in the world of supercars. This bold model, designed to succeed the Huracán, introduces technical and aesthetic innovations that shake up the codes of the Italian brand. With its avant-garde design, hybrid engine, and dazzling performance, the Temerario stands as a technological manifesto.

POWER UNDER THE HOOD: A SUPERCHARGED HYBRID V8

The primary innovation of the Lamborghini Temerario lies in its hybrid powertrain. Moving away from the iconic V10 of the Huracán, the Temerario is powered by a 4.0- liter (3995 cm3) twin-turbo V8 engine. This ultra-modern V8 is paired with a hybrid system featuring a 220 kW electric motor, delivering a combined total output of 920 horsepower. The combustion engine alone produces 800 hp at 9,000 rpm, while the hybrid system optimizes performance to reach unprecedented heights.

The maximum torque is equally impressive: 730 Nm, available between 4,000 and 7,000 rpm, providing ultra-fast and smooth acceleration.

The result is a top speed of 343 km/h and a blistering 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 2.7 seconds. This rapid acceleration is aided by an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, mounted transversely behind the engine, ensuring optimal power transfer. CHASSIS AND STRUCTURE:

A PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN PERFORMANCE AND COMFORT

The chassis architecture of the Temerario is based on an aluminum structure, incorporating hydroformed extrusions and closed hollow sections to optimize rigidity and minimize weight. This frame is 20% stiffer than that of the Huracán, although slightly heavier, with a curb weight of 1,690 kg. However, this minor weight increase is offset by improved aerodynamics and a lower center of gravity, ensuring better handling and control.

The Temerario is also available with the Alleggerita package, a lightweight version specifically designed for track enthusiasts. This package reduces the car's weight by over 25 kg, primarily through the use of carbon fiber wheels, while dramatically increasing aerodynamic efficiency with 67% more downforce. This setup allows for even sharper track performance while maintaining the car's overall balance.

A REVOLUTIONARY DESIGN: BETWEEN TRADITION AND FUTURISM

Visually, the Temerario embraces the aggressive and sculpted lines that are Lamborghini's trademark, while incorporating distinct futuristic touches. Among these are the hexagonal daytime running lights, a visual signature of the brand, which evoke iconic geometric shapes within a resolutely avant-garde aesthetic. The rear of the car is dominated by a redesigned wing that not only integrates design elements but also plays a crucial role in the car’s aerodynamics. The rear wing, along with strategically placed air vents, optimizes airflow for maximum stability at high speeds.

INTERIOR: THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE REIMAGINED

The cockpit of the Lamborghini Temerario offers a fully immersive driving experience. With a longer wheelbase than the Huracán, the Temerario provides more space for both driver and passenger an uncommon luxury in the supercar segment. The "comfort" seats, adjustable in 18 positions, heated, and ventilated, deliver an unprecedented level of comfort for this type of vehicle.

The driver-focused approach is further highlighted by a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, a 9.1-inch passenger display, and an 8.4-inch central touchscreen. All of this is integrated into a new Human-Machine Interface (HMI) system, which includes advanced features such as augmented reality navigation, 2.0 telemetry, and a "memory recorder" that allows drivers to capture their track performance.

DRIVING MODES: TOTAL ADAPTABILITY

One of the standout features of the Temerario is the wide range of driving modes it offers. In addition to the classic Strada and Corsa modes, the car includes an all-elec- tric Città mode, which allows for front-wheel-drive powered solely by the electric motor. There's also a new Drift mode, specifically designed for thrill-seekers on the track, ensuring a dynamic and exhilarating driving experience.

CUTTING-EDGE BRAKING SYSTEM AND SUSPENSION

Safety and performance are enhanced by an ultra-high-performance braking system featuring CCB Plus carbon-ceramic brakes, paired with 410 mm front and 390 mm rear brake discs. The double-wishbone front and rear suspension, combined with Lamborghini's Magneride system, ensures optimal roll management and impeccable stability, even under the most extreme driving conditions.

The Lamborghini Temerario embodies a perfect fusion of brutal performance and technological refinement. With its hybrid twin-turbo V8 engine, optimized chassis, and ultra-modern interior, it redefines the limits of what can be expected from a Lamborghini. Whether on the track or on the road, the Temerario promises an unprecedented driving experience, combining power, precision, and comfort.
