BOMBARDIER GLOBAL 6000 BY OFFICINA ARMARE
A SUPERYACHT-STYLE INTERIOR FOR A PRIVATE JET
Officina Armare unveils a superyacht-style interior for a private jet, where the contemporary cabin of the Bombardier Global 6000 is inspired by luxury yachting and Art Deco. As business and leisure aviation reaches its peak, private jet owners demand more exclusivity, comfort, and luxury when traveling. With this in mind, Officina Armare, a Milan-based company known for designing cutting-edge and stylish boats, has turned its attention to aircraft.
They worked on a Bombardier Global 6000, a top-tier long-haul jet that can accommodate eight passengers and reach a top speed of 1,050 kilometers per hour, powered by two Rolls-Royce BR710A2-20 turbofan engines.Commissioned by a wealthy Brazilian client seeking a high-end experience, Officina Armare spared no effort in delivering an elegant interior design.
Welcoming passengers with magnificent mahogany panels, precious materials, and a design inspired by luxury yachting and the Art Deco period, the spacious cabin is perfect for conducting business, entertaining, and relaxing. Indeed, a range of luxurious amenities offers residential-style comfort, unlike any other jet soaring through the skies.
Drawing on its experience in yacht design, such as the Centauro Project, a bold and futuristic concept with a spacecraft-like appearance, Officina Armare revolutionizes traditional cabin layouts, creating a space divided into three "zones," enhanced with chic furniture and premium materials.
The first zone includes the kitchen, crew facilities, and a guest bathroom. The second zone is dedicated to dining and entertainment: the main lounge. The third zone is the owner's private cabin, featuring a master suite, a full-width bathroom, a walk-in closet, and an office, along with numerous entertainment and storage options.
The design phase prioritized multifunctionality, ensuring that each zone is highly efficient. For example, the forward lounge includes a retractable dining table as well as a second, more casual seating area.
To relax with a glass of champagne, head to the bar where custom stools by designer Glyn Peter Machin create a bar-like atmosphere. The added bonus? A view at 12,000 meters altitude. This space is also versatile: lower the bar, and it transforms into a multimedia room, adding even more flexibility for entertainment.
For seating, Officina Armare has selected ultra-soft Hermès signature leather with navy blue nubuck crocodile details, complementing the handcrafted plush carpeting. Additionally, the impressive lounge sofa will be upholstered in ultra-comfortable Loro Piana wool. It’s worth noting that these elegant interiors echo the striking metallic paint of the exterior.
