EXPLANATION OF A HORSERACE STYLE CLOSE OUT SALE ENDS AT 7PM MST WITH EXTENDED BIDDING TO FOLLOW AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THERE IS NO BIDDING FOR 5 MINUTES! With this option, all lots will close simultaneously. A few benefits to this style of auction are the buyer has the CHOICE to switch to any lot(s) in the offering if he/ she is outbid on his/her current choice; buyer does not have to deal with the sale order of the sale because all lots are offered and bid on simultaneously; and the buyer has a choice(s) and more time to make his/her decision. Extended Bidding means that the auction is not declared closed until there have been five minutes of inactivity after the 7PM close out. REMEMBER TO CLICK ON THE REFRESH BUTTON TO UPDATE THE TIME REMAINING! Example 1: Auction Closes at 6pm. There is no bidding from 5:55 pm to 6pm. All lots are declared closed and the sale ends at 6pm. Example 2: Auction closes at 6pm. There is a bid placed at 6:58pm. The Auction is extended 5 additional minutes. No more bidding occurs. All lots are declared closed and the sale ends at 7:03pm. Example 3: Auction Closes at 6pm. There is a bid placed at 5:58pm. Auction is extended by 5 minutes until 6:03 pm. Another bid is placed at 6:02 pm. No more bids are placed. All lots are declared closed and the sale ends at 6:07 pm Proxy Bidding is a feature you may use during the duration of the auction. This feature allows you to place a private maximum bid that only you will be aware of and allow the computer to bid on you behalf when another bidder places a bid on the same animal(s) as you.
HOW TO PURCHASE FEMALES IN
CAMROSE COUNTRY CLASSIC
OPTION 1 - Utilize the BMS industry leading order buying services. Contact a Bohrson Marketing member and we
will bid for you in a professional and confidential manner.
OPTION 2 - BID YOURSELF ON FARMGATETIMEDAUCTIONS.CA
1. Visit https://farmgatetimedauctions.ca, click the LOGIN/REGISTRATION button. First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account and it allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions. This program will send you text and email messages whenever there is activity on your favorite lots or someone challenges your proxy bid and this is why you will be asked for both your current email and cell phone number. If you are a past participant in the Farm Gate Timed auctions simply enter your user name and pass word to continue. This takes you to a list of both current and upcoming Farm Gate Auctions. 2. You can choose your favourite lots in this sale at this time and the program will allow you to open either all sale lots or just your favorite lots on your screen. Any time there is active bidding on a lot you have identified on your favorite list you will get a text and/or an email noting this activity. 3. The program allows you to place a proxy bid on any sale lot. This in fact protects your interest in any lot of interest for you to a specified dollar value you set, when you may not be able to give 100% attention to the sale. If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you but if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective and you will no longer have the wining bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again or moving your attention to a second lot of interest. 4. At Closing time of the sale the entire sale will extend bidding for 5 minute if a bid is placed on any lot in the sale. Any bid received after 6 PM will extend the sale by 5 minutes from the time of that bid. When no bidding occurs for 5 min the computer will declare the sale finished. 5. Within 24 hours of the sale close the Sale consignor will contact all winning bidders to arrange payment, transfer of pedigrees and delivery/ Pick up of your lot. If you require assistance with using the new DLMS Farm Gate web site, if you don’t understand how to create a favorites list, if you can’t figure out the proxy bid or you just plain want to bid via phone, please talk to any of the DLMS team or Sale Consignors.

AI Bred to MRL 98H on April 20/21. This outstanding Red Whiskey daughter is the result of an extremely successful flush. Her dam, 19X, has an excellent udder, very good footed and produces top end replacement females. 19X has had many high selling bulls through the bull sale. Only because we have several sisters to this heifer and more embryos on the way does she get to leave the farm. 52H is an exceptional heifer with her depth of body, muscle, broodiness and another one with mother cow written all over her. 52H will be a herd bull factory.

AI Bred to MRL Red Force on April 13/21. The Cracken sired cattle have that extra substance and doability. Very tanky, tons of capacity, strong topped, with that extra stylish presence makes this heifer one of the favorites. 30H has some pretty strong competition this year, this group of bred heifers are very consistent in their type. With this probably being on online sale again this year we want the new owners of these heifers to be satisfied with their purchase when they walk off the trailer. Take advantage of this outstanding set of bred heifers. 7

AI Bred to MRL 98H on May 12/21. 42H is a complete made, well balanced, structurally sound daughter of Rio Grande. Rio Grande is a bull that has worked very well for us, siring both heifers and bulls. A heifer here that is very sweet fronted, big hipped, with plenty of volume. 42H has some very productive high powered females in her pedigree. Another heifer here that should be a herd bull producer. She is bred to our new calving ease herd sire MRL 98H Sire - Rio Grnade 7022

Dam - Brooke 68Z
It was an exciting day for us when we partnered with Sunrise Simmentals to purchase Brooke 68Z. Her first four bull calves to that date had total proceeds of over $180,000. 68Z is loaded with maternal greatness, very sound made, excellent footed, nice uddered, tons of capacity, stylish, extra presence, super productive and very fertile. We originally weren’t going to sell many daughters off her but she has been producing 15 or more embryos per flush so we decided to share a couple. Brooke 68Z herself, still looks like a 4 year old cow. Getting to 94H herself, she is what the industry is about. Very angular, long hipped, big barreled, lots of presence and one that will surely raise herd bulls. One last thing, if you want to improve EPD’s get some Brooke 68Z progeny in your herd.

This is the kind of female that will get the job done year after year and look good doing it.

AI Bred to WS Epic on April 2/21. This easy doing, moderate framed heifer will be a problem free mother cow that will go out and do her job year after year. Her sire, Fusion, has developed into a sound, massive, long bodied herd bull that will be used heavily in our program again this year. Stuey, Romano, and Jahari should stack up to make an awesome mother cow. As mentioned in previous years, these heifers are all bred to go back into the cow herd. Calving ease is number one on the list and a full blood heifer bred to a red factor calving ease bull will cash in with a red blazed face calf.

AI Bred to LFE Night Hawk on April 6/21. For sure a sale feature here, super nice fronted, loads of natural capacity, very well balanced with that broody mother cow look to her. 73H is sired by the great female maker, Liner 56U. Her mother is one of our leading donor cows whose offspring seem to be pen favorite’s weather they are heifers or bulls. 73H’s dam is also the mother to ‘Cracken’ who has left us some very easy doing heifers. We consigned a deep cherry red Cracken daughter to the Jenna/Flirt sale this summer and the Cracken sons last spring averaged well over $15,000. We are very high on this cow family. Females with this look, and pedigree to back them don’t come for sale very often. If we didn’t have 4 full sisters, chances are this heifer wouldn’t be leaving the farm. There are also 3 full brothers that will highlight the Bull Sale this spring. 12

AI Bred to MRL 98H on April 28/21. This broody, attractive, big topped heifer has a ton of power and body dimension with a big square hip. This heifer probably shouldn’t be leaving the farm. 56H has a very solid set of EPD’s and is a pen favourite around here. 56H’s dam, 175E, is a really nice uddered, excellent footed, black blaze faced cow that we are very high on. If you can’t make it to the sale to see this heifer in person you might want to ask somebody about her, she is darn good. Dam - Miss 175E

207J stood out all summer long as one of our favorite calves. She is super stout, long bodied, wide topped, beautiful haired and will have a nice udder. She could be one of the best calves we have ever sold. This is will be one of the first Yuma calves to sell and we thought we needed to offer one of our best. With Yuma, Cobra and Authority in the pedigree and a stacked set of EPD’s we think 207J has big time potential. These are the kind that raise big time herd bulls year after year and have a tendency to find their way into the donor pen. The opportunity to purchase these kind doesn’t happen every day. 14

A combination of maternal and performance in this soggy, soft made, deep sided heifer calf. So easy doing and structurally correct, made just like her mother. Our Justified daughters have beautiful udders and are very docile, they make great mother cows. Check out the EPD’s out on this heifer, green all the way across the board. We always say that we are only going to sell bred heifers but there is just something about selling a few calves right off the top end. We have been very high on this heifer calf from a young age and think that she is going to follow in her mother’s footprints. Dam - Brooke 68Z

This special heifer was at the top of the pack all summer long. Lots of softness, rib shape and depth of quarter in this stylish heifer calf. 210J’s dam was flushed for her overall completeness and soundness. We won’t sell a heifer that we wouldn’t be proud to own. All the heifers are sired by our top walking herd bulls or leading AI sires. AI Bred to Anchor D Outlook on Mar. 18/2021. (safe) I don’t think we can raise them any better than Miss Power 99H and maybe it’s fitting her tattoo is 99 just like the great one. Raised by an Adonis female who had our high selling bred last year to Leewood Ranch and this year has put a full sister to 99H in the replacement pen.

The Hodges Family Keith 780-831-7999 Keiran 780-933-5637 Box 655 - Beaverlodge, AB Hello and welcome to another edition of The Camrose Country Classic. We are honoured to be apart of this prestigious sale with a great group of breeders but also great friends. We have three heifers on offer that all showcase our cow herd and type we are trying to raise. Being out of dams that have proved they can produce should make for these girls to go out and get to work for there new owners. Heifers are on full herd health program and were ultrasounded before they went out on grass. We invite you to come look at the heifers at home anytime before the sale. Any questions please give us a call. Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you sale day!

PE to TSF Gangster 57G from Mar. 20 - June 1/21. Ultrasound on June 5 - 55 Days pregnant. Here is a cherry red sweetheart of a heifer sired by MRL Sleep Easy. We have been using sleep easy here for some different bloodlines and really like how he makes them easy doing, with lots of volume all while keeping very moderate birth weights for our commercial bull customers. This girl is stacked maternally having the famous 836W MRL donor and Chevalier who has produced many of our top cows all line up in her pedigree. The dam 41D is a model cow here that is really easy to look at and seems to always bring in a top end calf. This bred heifer is setting up to have a beautiful udder just like her mother. Tat has a maternal sister at the top of the replacement pen so expect some consistency in quality. Another early service to Gangster who is a Beef King X High Roller, should provide a quick ROI. 26

AI Bred to Hart State of War on April 11/21. PE to TSF Gangster 57G from Apr. 14 - Jun. 1/21. Ultrasound on June 5 - 40 Days pregnant. Here is a very sharp profiled Bounty Hunter daughter that has caught my eye in all stages of her life. Very angular, lots of rib and setting up for a nice udder. The red girl cow family all have strong square udders. The grandam 527c is one of our most coveted red cows on the farm that always brings home a top calf whether it be bull or heifer. Just a beautiful female in a more moderate framed package. A maternal brother to 211H sired by Roosevelt will be a top black bull in our 2022 bull sale!

AI Bred to Anchor D Outlook on Mar. 29/21 PE to TSF Gangster 57G from Apr. 14 - Jun. 1/21. Ultrasound on June 5 - 65 Days pregnant. An absolute powerhouse of a fullblood heifer. Zindy has been a dandy since a calf. One you must be excited about when you think of her raising bull calves. Colored patterned as good as it gets and cherry red. The 637Z matron has a good-sized impact on our small fullblood herd with multiple daughters that have great feet and udders. This cow family has daughters working in Maxwell Simmentals and Ockerman Simmentals herds. If you like your fullblood cows with size and performance have a good look here! 27

AI Bred to Rust Primetime 507G on Mar. 24/21. RF Sheila 013G is an extremely attractive and sound Gold Key daughter and out of a beautiful uddered Stepping Stone cow. 13G’s dam did a great job on her first calf, 13G, and her second calf is one of the heavy weight Yuma sons in the bull pen. Her grand dam, 82A, is a past Farmfair and Agribition Champion female. The early service to the $60,000 Rust Primetime adds to the excitement with his outcross pedigree and calving ease combined with his maternal power. Dam - Famoous 732E
Grandam - Famous 127Y
RF Famous 025H is a deep bodied, attractive female that stems from one of the most prolific cow families in our herd. 25H’s dam is a 3/4 sister to one of our most prominent cows in our herd, RF Famous 409B, who has had 3 sons sell in our bull sale to date averaging $45,500 and has entered our embryo transplant program. 732E was a successful show heifer for Abby and has a good Supercharged son that will sell in our 2022 bull sale. 25H is out of the first exciting calf crop by the $92,000 IPU Bentley. Our high selling Bentley son in 2021 was out of a 3/4 sister to 732E and was a $33,000 high seller to Derek Sutter and Rick Kendall. Another early service to the exciting calving ease specialist, Rust Primetime, that resides at Double Bar D. If cow families are as important to you, check out 25H. The predictability is locked in on this cow family and 25H is a female that shouldn’t be leaving the farm.

(Safe to Apr.30 natural service). 60H is another daughter of the never miss Blacksand Sadie 4Z. 60H has been a favourite of many since she was a calf and has always been a huge bodied, attractive female with that great blaze. 4Z was a $25,000 high seller in the Blacksand Dispersal sale and has had numerous sons sell in our bull sale as well as putting daughters into prominent herds including Lewis Farms, Hoegl Livestock, Wallgren Farms and Blacksand Cattle Co. 60H is typical of the 4Z daughters with the big, deep rib and broody look. Another daughter of the exciting $92,000 IPU Bentley. Bred to our calving ease specialist that we own with Adair Simmentals, TNT Barbwire, for an early February calf.
