WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who has been accused of sexual harassment by wrestlers, on Sunday slammed athletes for their protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and said that their motive is politics and not his resignation. He alleged that those who have levelled allegations against him belong to an akhada whose patron is Cong MP Deepender Hooda.

First India Bureau New Delhi: DGCA, on Sunday issued a show cause notice to Air India CEO Campbell Wilson and Head of Safety, Security and Quality Functions Henry Donohoe for the airline’s lapses in reporting about incident of a pilot allowing a female friend inside cockpit during a Dubai-Delhi flight on February 27.

There was a delay in investigating the incident. Both the executives have been given 15 days to respond to the show cause notices.

Neighbour booked for raping woman at knife point

First India Bureau Jaipur: A 33-year-old woman has filed a case of rape against her neighbour in the Gandhi Nagar police station. The accused neighbour, who came home on the pretext of meeting her husband, raped her at knife point. Police said that in the complaint, the woman wrote the accused neighbour raped her at knifepoint. He then blackmailed the woman by making obscene videos and extorting money. Distressed by this, the woman narrated her ordeal to her husband. On Saturday, the woman lodged a report against the accused neighbour at the Gandhi Nagar police station.
