The Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday said that the state government has opened 303 colleges in four and a half years. In these, taking historic decisions for the youth of the district, 7 colleges have been opened.
He was addressing the foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremony of development works worth Rs 50.74 crore at Luharia village of Pratapgarh.
The Chief Minister said that the state government committed to the development of tribal areas has not left any gap at any level. A provision has been made to increase the amount of SC-ST Development Fund from Rs 100-100 crore to Rs 500-500 crore. This will help in their all round development. The Chief Minister visited the Mehangai Rahat Camp in Luharia village and the PGKS camp.
In the meanwhile, CM Gehlot Gehlot while addressing the inauguration-foundation ceremony of development works worth Rs 107.82 crore at Chainpuria village of Badi Sadri in Chittorgarh on Sunday, said that the State government as the public’s trustee, is working towards providing relief to the last person. He said that the successful implementation of the schemes is possible only because of the tax deposited by the public.
