Justice Mehta, who is considered an expert in criminal matters, has practiced in different high courts including Rajasthan high court and in Supreme Court.

With about 25 years of experience as a lawyer, Mehta was appointed as a Judge in the High Court on 30 May 2011. Justice Sandeep Mehta is also known for his efforts in legal service in Rajasthan. On the other hand, it was a surprising coincidence that the appointment of Assam’s Guv and CJ of Gauhati HC on the same day and both are from Rajasthan.

Jaipur (FIB): Raj HC will conduct hearing on the PIL filed by BJP leader and Dy LoP in Rajasthan assembly Rajendra Rathore on the matter related to the resignation of Congress MLAs.

The hearing will be conducted by the division bench of acting chief justice MM Srivastava. The matter is listed for tomorrow. Reply by Rathore is to be presented by Rathore during the hearing. It may be noted that Rathore himself is arguing in the case.
