New Delhi: Chief Justices were appointed to 4 high courts on Sunday. The appointments were made to Gujarat, Gauhati, Tripura and Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh high courts. Law Minister Kiren Rijiju announced the fresh appointments on Twitter. He wrote on Twitter, “As per the relevant provisions under the Constitution of India, the following Judges are appointed as CJs of different HCs. I extend best wishes to all!”
