MAN ARRESTED IN WOMAN COP’S SUICIDE CASE

New Delhi: A man, who was carrying a reward of Rs 20,000 on his head in connection with the suicide case of a woman Delhi Police Constable, was arrested by the Crime Branch from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut, official said on Sunday. A senior police official said that the accused was identified as Sonu Bhalotiya (27).

MAN WANTED IN MISAPPROPRIATION OF ATM CASH HELD IN UP AFTER 5 YEARS

New Delhi: The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police on Sunday said that they have arrested an accused, who had been on the run for five years, in connection with a case related to misappropriation of Rs 2.22 crore meant for ATMs. A senior police officer said that the accused was identified as Mohammad Abdul Qadir, a resident of Lucknow. “Accused was wanted in a case of misappropriation of Rs 2.22 crore of Brinks India Private Limited, having a contract with national and private banks to replenish the currency available in ATMs,” the police said.

“The image of UP has changed a lot in the last five years, which has also increased people’s confidence. One trillion dollar economy is a huge thing in itself,” he added. He further said that the state is also becoming the sports capital of the world.

UP TO SOON HAVE MAXIMUM DOMESTIC FLIGHTS IN INDIA, SAYS SCINDIA

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh will soon have the maximum number of domestic flight services in the country and also 21 airports in the coming days, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said. Addressing a session on “Civil Aviation in Uttar Pradesh: The Emerging Opportunities” during the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit-2023 here, Scindia also said that PM Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath have rejuvenated the country.
