Jaipur: The State’s biggest land pooling scheme will be implemented at Phagi in Jaipur.
The authorised committee has considered this area suitable for the scheme. UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal will decide on the recommendation of the committee and work on the scheme will start as soon as Dhariwal gives the green signal.
This scheme will be built on 3,200 hectares of land in Sector 57. Dhariwal has instructed UDH advisor GS Sandhu to study the matter. The JDA recommended to appoint the authority for the scheme. JDA Director Engineering-III will be the Land Pooling Officer. The left side part of Phagi Renwal Road will be included in the scheme. There is planning to implement the scheme simultaneously in two phases. Farmers themselves had proposed to surrender land in land pooling.
Under this law, there is a provision to take land from the account holders with mutual consent

Six injured as miscreants pelt stones at ‘baarat’ in Udaipur

Udaipur: Nearly half-adozen people, including two children, were injured in Gogunda town of Udaipur district on Monday night after miscreants pelted stones at a marriage procession of a specific community, police said.
Police informed the incident occurred during a marriage procession of the Nagarsi community in Shobhawas village under the Sayra Police Station area.
“A controversy erupted on the issue of making the groom of Nang- arsi society sit on a mare.
The accused Mohan Singh Rajput and his two sons started throwing stones at the marriage procession. The accused also made casteist remarks about the victims.
Robots to perform surgery at SMS hosp

Jaipur: Robots were the centre of attraction for everyone at the ongoing Platinum Jubilee Celebration of SMS Medical College here. The SMS Hospital bought two robots worth Rs 50 crore which would assist doctors during surgeries. These robots have been ordered for the Department of General Surgery and Urology. Dr Priyadarshi, in a special conversation with First India, said that the SMS Hospital is the second institute in the government medical colleges of the country, where surgery would be done with the assistance of a robot. AICC Congress leader Sachin Pilot arrived in Shillong on Tuesday to campaign for the party candidates for the ensuing polls. The Congress leader addressed a press conference at Congress Bhawan in Shillong.
“The voters of Meghalaya will give their mandate to Congress for the progress and development of the state,” he said. Urging voters to bless the Congress party, Pilot said, “The Congress may not have the resources to match BJP, but we have the support and the blessings of the voters.”
Illegal construction: JDA notice to Raj Aangan resort

Jaipur: Notice was issued to Raj Aangan resort management upon the direction of JDA’s Chief Enforcement Controller Raghuveer Saini. The resort is located in Maharaja Kishan Singh Nagar, JDA Zone 8.
