Docs’ delegation meets Guv over ‘Right to Health’ Bill
Jaipur: A delegation of doctors protesting against the ‘Right to Health’ bill met Governor Kalraj Mishra on Tuesday and apprised him of the discrepancies in the bill.
After meeting the governor, the joint-action committee of doctors announced that they will continue their protest against the bill and if required, will sit on an indefinite strike.

Jaipur: The hearing by Rajasthan High Court in the matter related to the resignations of Congress MLAs was postponed for six weeks.
Petitioner Rajendra Rathore presented an application requesting the court to extend the date of hearing because he has to go to Guwahati for Kataria’s oath ceremony.

Mishra also assured help to the agitating doctors. Notably, the hospitals have already boycotted treatment to patients under Chiranjeevi Scheme and RGHS.
Four crushed to death in Jaipur’s Dudu area

Dudu (Jaipur): Four people were crushed to death in Dudu town of Jaipur district on Tuesday after a speeding trailer ran over them, police said.
Police informed the deceased have been identified as Amarchand Mali, Jitendra Sen, Salim Mansuri and Pawan Kumar Mali, all residents of Padasoli village of Dudu town.
Bodies of deceased being taken to mortuary on Tuesday.
COUPLE RUN OVER BY SPEEDING JEEP IN SIKAR, SAY POLICE
Sikar/Jaipur: The Lakhi Mela of Khatu Shyam Ji Temple will begin on Wednesday and around 40 lakh devotees are expected to offer prayers in the temple during the mela. The Lakhi Mela will be held till March 4 and the devotees will have to walk 12 km to reach the temple. The roads leading to the temple have been renovated and widened so that devotees should not face any difficulty to reach the temple. The route chart to reach the temple has also been issued and the devotees will be given about 15 seconds each to worship inside the temple.
Jaipur: BJP national president JP Nadda will visit Rajasthan on 24 February and tour Hanumangarh where he will address the party meeting. Notably, Nadda will hold election meetings in Nagaland on 22 and 23 February. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated the Sohna-Dausa part of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Dausa on February 12. The programme was organised by the NHAI.

Jaipur: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will take part in a ‘Prabhat Gram Milan’ programme in Dungarpur on Friday. Organised every five years, the ‘All India Village Development — Prabhat Gram Milan’ will be held at Bhemai village from Friday to Sunday. Bhagwat will address a gathering, RSS’ Rajendra Lalwani said. He will also participate in the two-day ‘Gram Vikas Baithak’. Bhagwat is scheduled to meet volunteers from Sagwara on Sunday morning before leaving for Udaipur.
“The incident occurred at Gaiji Mod on Jaipur-Ajmer National Highway on Tuesday afternoon. The four victims were standing near the roadside when a speeding trailer heading towards Ajmer crushed them. Their bodies were dragged to 100 meters and later split into pieces,” police said.
Sikar: A couple was killed in Sikar on Tuesday after they were hit by a speeding Bolero jeep, police said. Police informed the deceased has been identified as Rajkumar Solanki and his wife Sita Devi (50), both residents of Nani village of Sikar district. “The incident occurred near Sai Baba Temple in the Mundwara area on Tuesday evening. The victims were heading towards Sangliya Ashram when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding Bolero jeep,” police added.
