Shankar Sharma on Friday directed Sikar District Collector, Superintendent of Police and Khatu Shyam Ji Temple committee to make special arrangements during Lakkhi Mela for people with special needs.

Sharma said that many devotees visit Khatu Shyam Ji Temple during Lakkhi Mela and people with special needs face difficulties due to no ramp and wheelchairs in place. He said that not only during the fair, but even after that authorities should make arrangements for the convenience of specially-abled devotees.

First India Bureau Nagaur: Three women were killed and nine people were injured after a pick-up van overturned in Nagaur on Friday, police said. Police informed the incident took place when the victims were heading towards Khetas village from Untwalia village. “The speeding pick-up van overturned near Untwalia village under the Shri Balaji Police Station on Friday afternoon. All of them were buried under the vehicle. Three women died on the spot while nine others were injured in the mishap. All the deceased women belonged to one family. The injured were rushed to Nagaur district hospital for treatment. Later, the four critically injured were referred to Jodhpur for further treatment,” police said.

Barmer: BJP Central Election Committee member and Chhattisgarh BJP in-charge Om Mathur on Friday indicated that 30 to 40 percent of candidates may be replaced in the coming election. Shoes transported in ambulance, action taken

Dausa (ANI): An ambulance driver with Dausa Govt Hospital was removed from duty after a video went viral on social media showing the vehicle transporting footwear from Jaipur to Dausa.

The principal medical officer (PMO) of Dausa Government Hospital, Dr. Shivram Meena, confirmed that the ambulance driver, who was appointed by an NGO, has already been removed while a panel has been put together to probe the matter.

“If necessary, a case will be registered under relevant sections against the accused. This is a serious matter. I assure a proper inquiry in the matter,” Meena added.
