New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a mega budget Reach Out on February 4 and 5 across India to bring to the fore what the budget means for each and every citizen, cutting across age, caste, creed and profession. Union ministers will travel across the country for this budget reach out programme. “During this reach out programme, union ministers will hold a press conference on the budget and at the same time interact with people across the strata, including prominent citizens and intellectuals,” top sources said. Earlier in the morning on Thursday, BJP national president JP Nadda held a meeting with the ministers to fine-tune the details of the programme.

Dehradun: Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday said the Union Budget has several provisions which are especially beneficial for a Himalayan state like Uttarakhand whose economy is based primarily on tourism. “The budget lays the foundations of a strong India and pave the way for its emergence as a global leader,” Dhami said at a press conference here.
Bengaluru: Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai has slammed the Opposition parties for criticising the Union Budget 2023-24 presented by Finance Minister in the Parliament. In a specially convened press conference, the CM stated that the opposition parties in the state are disappointed despite the central government announcing Rs 5,300 crore for the Upper Bhadra project.
HRY BUDGET SESSION FROM FEB 20
Budget session of the Haryana Assembly will begin here from February 20, CM Manohar Lal Khattar said on Thursday. It has been proposed to hold the session in two parts, the chief minister said. “The budget session will begin from February 20,” Khattar told reporters here after a Cabinet meeting.
ODISHA BUDGET SESSION ON FEB 21
The Budget session of the Odisha Assembly will commence on February 21, an official notification said on Thursday. The session will commence with the customary address by the Governor on the opening day.
