Smuggled gold
worth `1.40 crore seized at Jaipur Rly Station
First India Bureau Jaipur apps like Swiggy and Zomato along with other cab/goods transportation companies will also have to follow the rules which are bein planned to rolled out in this month only.
Around 2.2 kgs of smuggled gold, worth around Rs 1.40 crores, was seized by the officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) from two smugglers at Jaipur Railway Station. Police informed the gold was being smuggled from Kolkata to Jaipur and was recovered from the sole of the shoes of the two accused. “Based on specific information, the DRI team boarded the train and checked the two passengers. The smugglers were produced before a jail on Friday and were sent to jail,” police said.
